LET'S GET IT STRAIGHT...THIS WAS A "SURVEY"

Confusion over what to call the Kalpoe home search?
This search was considered a "survey"

What is a survey?

(Source)--A survey is meant as a ‘personal visit to the scene of the crime’. The purpose is to get a better picture of the place where, or the circumstances under which an offence was committed or to determine involvement in an offence. The OM does not make a statement on the reason and the contents of the survey.

So what's the difference between a "survey" and a regular search?

A survey, where the investigation only focuses on the personal observation by the detective team, is not the same as a house search, where subjects are confiscated and suspects are arrested.

An examining magistrate directs a house search, while a public prosecutor directs a survey. The residents of the house do not have to give permission to enter the house. If they refuse, the public prosecutor has the authority to do this against their will. The residents have to be informed on what the team is going to do, the reason for doing it and based on what. The police can be called if the residents continue to resist.

DUTCH MILITARY--DRUGS OK OR NOT?

This is a very confusing story. Maybe it lost something in translation. First it's a NO TOLERANCE policy, then there are EXCEPTIONS. How conveinent for the Dutch! Should any of us be one bit surprised? Maybe this theory goes with the same BS as "witnesses can lie, but suspects can't" rule in Aruba.

Military men caught with drugs are immediately returned

WILLEMSTAD – While stationed in the Antilles and Aruba, Dutch military persons, who for the first time are caught with drugs are immediately returned to the Netherlands. There has been a no tolerance policy on the island for years already, where on just a suspicion of being involved with drugs, a military and his/her family members are sent back, says a navy-spokesperson in Curacao.

Secretary of state Cees van der Knaap (Defence, CDA ) has adjusted the drug policy, because it is different for the Army, for the Navy, and for the Air Force.
(What does that mean? Some drugs are ok and others aren't?) There is now just one rule for the entire armed forces. Defence basically does not (what happened to the "no tolerance" rule?) tolerate the use or possession of drugs.

The rule of conduct also includes that when a military (stationed in the Netherlands) is caught with soft drugs for his/her private use
and is not using it during work hours (but using it during work hours is ok? LOL.), in the barracks, or in a team, he/she receives a written warning; (There they go again with that "no tolerance"!) next time, Defence recommends him/her for discharge. If the person is a military policeman/woman, he/she will be immediately discharged.

Due to the fact that the defence division functions as the police organization of the armed forces, a member of the Royal MP is discharged immediately. For civilian personnel of Defence, the use- or possession of drugs can be considered as neglect of duty if it impedes the functioning or harms the image of Defence. In that case, a suitable sanction can be imposed.

Cost-U-Less Plans Entry into Aruba Market

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cost-U-Less, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq:CULS - News) today announced that it has signed a long-term lease agreement to open a new warehouse club-style store on the island of Aruba. The store is expected to open in 2008. Aruba is an island located approximately 19 miles off the coast of Venezuela and measures six miles across and nineteen miles long. As of the 2005 census conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics, Aruba's population is approximately 96,000.

"This is a very attractive market to us on several levels," said J. Jeffrey Meder, the Company's President and CEO. "First, because of its location, Aruba complements our existing operation in Curacao. Second, there already exists strong recognition and demand for U.S. branded products and, finally, this is a thriving tourism market. We have an outstanding location that we believe will allow us to compete quite successfully."

Cost-U-Less currently operates eleven stores in the Caribbean and Pacific region: U.S. Virgin Islands (2), Netherlands Antilles (2), Hawaiian Islands (2), California (1), Guam (2), American Samoa (1), and Republic of Fiji (1). The Company builds its business through delivering high-quality U.S. and local goods, progressive merchandising practices, sophisticated distribution capabilities, and superior customer service, primarily to island markets. Additional information about Cost-U-Less is available at www.costuless.com.

Forward-Looking Statements

This press release contains statements that are forward-looking. These statements are made pursuant to the safe harbor provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Such statements, including comparable store sales expectations, trends in or expectations regarding our revenue growth, and our growth plans are all based on currently available operating, financial, and competitive information and are subject to various risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from historical results or those anticipated.

We may encounter substantial delays, increased expenses or loss of potential store sites due to the complexities, cultural differences, and local political issues associated with the regulatory and permitting processes in Aruba.

While we believe the Aruba market has the attributes prescribed by our existing growth strategy, licensing restrictions and political resistance to foreign retailers may make it difficult for us to enter this market. In addition, we do not have operating experience in Aruba. New markets such as Aruba may present operational, competitive, regulatory and merchandising challenges that are different from those we currently encounter. There can be no assurance that we will be able to adapt our operations to support expansion into Aruba or that the new store will be profitable.

Other risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from historical results or those anticipated include our small store base, the mix of geographic and product revenues, our relationships with third parties, litigation, our ability to maintain existing credit facilities and to obtain additional credit, business and economic conditions and growth in various geographic regions, pricing pressures, political and regulatory instability in various geographic regions, and other risks and uncertainties detailed in our filings with the SEC.

THE LATEST FROM ABC--UPDATE ON KALPOE SEARCH

Surprise Search for Holloway Clues at One-Time Suspects' Home

Kalpoe Brothers Escorted From Property After Protest

ORANJESTAD, Aruba -- May 12, 2007

Dutch and Aruban investigators on Saturday went to the house of two brothers who were one-time suspects in the disappearance of U.S. teenager Natalee Holloway, the Aruban prosecutors' office said.

The investigators conducted what they termed an "inspection" of the property where Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe live with their parents, according to Vivian van der Biezen, a spokeswoman for the public prosecutors' office. (Losers! "Hi! I'm in my 20's and I live with my mom!" A real winner... I wonder if he (Deepak) uses that line to try and get laid. Oh...I forgot, he let's GHB do everything for him.)

A statement from the Aruban prosecutor's office said: "An inspection is a coercive measure aimed at observing or analyzing a specific place or circumstances under which a criminal offense may have been committed, or to establish facts related to a criminal case." (Is Karen Janssen still around? I find it funny that statement was released when they NEVER searched the Kalpoe's residence to begin with?! This is all complete BS...smoke and mirrors. They will come up with nothing and say, "Oh well, we tried...what do you want us to do?!" Well, I say until SOMEONE TALKS Aruba...WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY!!!)

The Kalpoe brothers were in the family's home in Hooiberg, east of the Dutch Caribbean island's capital of Oranjestad, when investigators arrived Saturday morning. The siblings objected to the action and had to be escorted from the property by police officers, she said. "The brothers were not arrested," van der Biezen (Who is this Vivian van der Biezen? One of Janssen's cronies? And yes, they now have been "detained" [not arrested] for questioning...at least that was my last unconfirmed report.) told The Associated Press, adding that the inspection lasted for about an hour.

She could not say what investigators were looking for. Nothing was seized from the home, according to the statement, and no further details were disclosed. The inspection of the Kalpoe home came more than two weeks after investigators from the Netherlands dug up earth for two days outside the home of former suspect Joran van der Sloot, reviving a case that had seemed to grow cold since the U.S. teen vanished during a school trip to Aruba about two years ago. (Let me tell you something ABC...this case has NEVER gone cold. We are keeping Natalee's name and life out there for everyone to remember. Besides, if it is such a ho-hum "cold case", then WHY are you reporting about it? It is so blatantly obvious that the mainstream media are "fair weathered fans"...like leeches. [i.e. Greta] They get what they want from you and toss you aside. WE THE PEOPLE have not forgotten!)

Paulus van der Sloot, Joran's father, told a Dutch television program that investigators seized diary notes and letters from him and his wife, as well as a personal computer that was returned later. (What MAN writes in a diary? Sounds sort of odd...fruity even. Did he start writing in this so-called diary AFTER Natalee went missing? If so, did he do that in order to cover his butt if asked about it later?) He felt his privacy had been invaded. (Boo hoo...not only was Natalee's life was invaded and distinguished under the evil seed you created, but so have her parents, family and friends...so don't give any of us your "poor me" routine.)

*** ALERT ***

This morning at 7:00 a.m., a team of local policemen, accompanied by members of the Dutch team, went to the home of the Kalpoe brothers for the Dutch to further familiarize themselves with the area.

Deepak and Satish resisted the action and were handcuffed and taken away by the local authorities accompanied by members of the Dutch team.

The reporters of the DIARIO were the only ones present during this action, and we have exclusive photos of the temporary arrest for resisting an official action by the authorities. The Kalpoe brothers were brought back to the house one hour later. The authorities are now wrapping up the action and moving away from the area. Will keep you informed if and when things develop in a more specific direction.

WEIGHTY ISSUES FOR THE DUTCH--BEER OR BOOKS?

HALF-ASS BACKWARDS...DO IT THE DUTCH WAY!

Parliament opposes higher drinking age
8 May 2007

THE HAGUE – A majority in Parliament opposes raising the drinking age for beer, wine and alcopops to 18. (Are you thinking the same thing as me? What in the hell are "alcopops"? A very interesting name for plain-old wine-coolers.)

A proposal from Home Affairs Minister Guusje ter Horst (Labour PvdA) has come up against opposition from her own party, the Christian democrat CDA and Green-left GroenLinks.

The two coalition parties think that enforcement of the existing age limit of 16 should first be stepped up before new measures are considered.

CDA MP Ciska Joldersma thinks the minister is proposing too sweeping a measure in order to clamp down on a small group of problem youth. (There is no such thing as a "small group of youths who drink"...) She is urging for an approach focused on the young people "who are drinking vast amounts," in combination with better enforcement of the current minimum age. (Do you have some i.d. kid? I'm not sure if you look over 14... You want some weed with that as well?)

The PvdA also wants to see current legislation better enforced. Only after every effort has been made to this effect will the faction consider raising the drinking age. (The dutch...talk is cheap. Talk, talk, talk...do nothing.)

Both the CDA and PvdA agree that underage individuals buying alcohol should themselves be penalised. Under current legislation only the shop and café owners can be prosecuted.

ALCOHOL OK...SWEETS NO WAY?

"Ban commercials for sweets"
8 May 2007

AMSTERDAM – A group of health foundations and scientists is arguing that television commercials for sweets and crisps aimed at children should be banned before 9 pm. In a letter to Public Health Minister Ab Klink the group argues that self-regulation by the industry is not working.

The group is also arguing that in addition to a ban on advertising during the day, promotional campaigns aimed at young children and offering toys with the purchase of sweets should also be stopped. (Instead show beer commercials?)

The letter is signed by the Heart Foundation, the Diabetes fund, and other groups. Minister Klink has indicated that he first wants to meet with the industry to discuss tightening up self regulation.

CASH IN YOUR BEER BOTTLE DEPOSIT MONEY FOR SCHOOL BOOKS!

"Money for schoolbooks is insufficient"
9 May 2007

AMSTERDAM – The cabinet is not setting enough money aside for the free school books it has promised. A small majority of schools says the funds allotted are insufficient, Trouw reports.

Many independent secondary schools and large school systems say that the EUR 308 per student is not enough to cover the costs of books. They fear that the quality of education they offer will be compromised. 9 percent of schools on the other hand say that books have cost them less than EUR 308 per student and that they will have money left over. (Ask the Red Light District to donate some funds!)

School books are to be provided free of cost to students starting in 2008 at the earliest.

BLOOD IN DEEPAK'S CAR? PROOF POSITIVE!!!

**Another great submission to Aruban Boycott by Natalee's Freebirds!

Blood – Not Cleaning Fluid
The Perfection of the Misinformation Campaign

Is it any wonder the Holloway/Twitty families have been so frustrated since the beginning of this “investigation” by Aruba into their daughter’s disappearance?

On June 9, 2005 Joran van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe, and Satish Kalpoe were arrested for pre-trial detention as suspects in Natalee’s disappearance. On that same day, Aruban officials impounded Deepak Kalpoe’s car. At approximately 8:30 that night, a search for blood was conducted inside that vehicle. That same day, FBI officials compiled a report of blood sample comparisons from their findings in that car. One week later, DNA lab results came back from the FBI’s forensic laboratory in Quantico.

Pure logic tells us that if there was not blood found in the car –a comparison could not have been made. Neither could a DNA report have been generated by the FBI.

From the Aruban case file log:

The "Diario," a local daily newspaper, is reporting that a human blood sample found in a car at the residence of one of the teens in custody — the 17-year-old son of a high-ranking island judicuary official — is now being sent to the U.S. and will be tested for a possible match to Natalee, whose mother gave a blood sample to investigators.

The next day, June 10, 2005, DNA samples were taken from Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway in Aruba. June 10, 2005 brought us another important occurrence in this case – a confession was made by one of the suspects arrested the previous day.

She called her mother and told her that. And our family was—was—began the grieving process. However, if Aruban spokespeople were to be believed, there was not blood, but rather cleaning fluid found inside Deepak’s car – and the confession was merely a “misinformation campaign.”

LET'S FOCUS ON ANOTHER "UNOFFICAL" SUSPECT, MICHAEL POSNER

An old article to revisit...we can't forget about this scumbag!
The dutch need to look into him as well.

Monday, November 21, 2005
[translated by Getagrip]

Aruban casino owner with criminal past goes to America
Joe Mammana is not permitted to enter Aruba due to his past
but how did we end up with Mike Posner?

We all know that Joe Mammana won't be visting Aruba or anywhere else for that matter...he's sitting in jail awaiting his sentence and is facing up to 7 years in prison for tax evasion (isn't that ironic?) However, when I used to talk to Joe, he told me that he DID go to Aruba after he was "banned". Since he has a criminal background, I'm sure he found a way to get into the country without the correct identification or slipped through the cracks. He laughed when he said he was walking all around the island and NO ONE noticed him. Shows how much their "security" works!

DIARIO Aruba
11/21/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN) The case of Natalee is taking other unexpected twists and very negative ones that are going to tarnish Aruba’s image as a safe destination for tourists and investors.

Joe Mammana has a very impressive criminal past in the U.S. but for one reason or another he has found publicity with different cases which have set his image straight and in the case of Natalee, he is trying to find national attention in the US by using sensationalism via the American media. The government of Aruba recently declared that they will not permit Joe Mammana to enter Aruba.

Related to his past and criminal record, the government took the decision via the Minister of Justice that they cannot let such a person enter Aruba and about this there was information circulating that this Joe person sent a threatening letter to those who were detained in Aruba related to the case of Natalee.

The government’s actions in this case were correct because they cannot let this type of person come to Aruba and believe that they can come do what they see fit on our island, and to boot, Mammana is one of those who is trying, body and soul, to organize an unjust and unjustifiable boycott against Aruba. (Joe didn't organize ANYTHING...he was just a "talking head"...all talk, no action. It is WE, the grassroots movement that are making a difference in the boycott, not Joe.)

What is strange is that the government refuses to let this ex-criminal enter Aruba, but on the other hand, permits another ex-criminal, Mike Posner who is going soon to the U.S. for cases of law violations, to be able to have a business in Aruba, and enter and leave Aruba whenever he wants.

To make matters worse, the person in question, Mike Posner, has been able to obtain a permit to operate a casino, where anyone who wants to have a casino in Aruba and the majority of other countries in the world have to have a clean criminal record.

Recently, this information has started to circulate in the U.S. as well, and seeing that it hasn’t been many days since via the American media false information was given that Aruba is a sort of den for criminals and even terrorists, the matter of the Aruba casino owner with a criminal past in the US, is going to help those who want to implement a total boycott against Aruba.

Wasn’t it in Mike Posner’s casino that the principal suspect in Natalee’s case, Joran van der Sloot, was sitting gambling, despite the fact that he was underage and that never should he have been permitted to enter the casino?

Some weeks back, other media in Aruba came out in vanguard of the ex-criminal Mike Posner and wrote and article that praised Mike Posner for his supposed achievements in Aruba and what interest they had with him, nobody knows. (To me, that is really sad...awhile back I wrote a post about Posner and his Chicago days burying himself in various criminal activities such as pimping, owning strip clubs and involvement with the mob. He spent time in Joliet prison with the likes of John Wayne Gacy. Read all about Michael Posner by clicking HERE.)

Now that the government refuses an American ex-criminal entry to Aruba, the government has to justify the reason why until today they continue to permit a person with such a police record such as Mike Posner, can come to set up a business in Aruba, continue to operate his business in Aruba and come and go whenever he wants.

What sort of handling of Justice is there in Aruba and what impact will this case have in the US when the American media start to question the government of Aruba about this matter? This matter is pending because there are more questionable things here and also the role that certain politicians in Aruba play and continue to play in this matter.

AID TO VICTIMS? BS OR TRUTH? ARUBA'S SCANDAL AFFECTS BONAIRE

KRALENDIJK – The bureau aids to victims at the police station in Amboina is officially open since last week Friday. Sherlutska Martinus, director of the bureau, explained that the bureau aids to victims in Bonaire comes directly under the police corps.

The bureau focuses on offering aid to victims of delinquencies. “For years, the police have only been working on catching scoundrels. The time has come now to also pay attention to the victims; to help them so that they deal with what they have gone through and can go on with their lives in an as normal manner as possible”, said Martinus.

“Most victims want to talk about what they went through. When that happens, we give them emotional support. They get the chance to say what they have felt exactly and what impact the delict had on them. There are victims that also need practical support. Others need judicial advice. Thus what the bureau does is give emotional, practical, and judicial support.” (Let's see how they handle that one...I believe this is a ploy to assure tourists that if something should happen to them, they will come to their rescue and 'make it all better'...it's a fake effort.)

Martinus says that in most cases, the victims need emotional support. In order to prepare them for the work, an intensive training has been organized for the volunteers of the bureau aids to victims. A total of 9 persons have reported themselves as volunteers. They received this special training in Breda, the Netherlands. They have learned how to take care of the victims and how to conduct certain conversations. The bureau is very pleased with these volunteers. “We are convinced that the aid that these volunteers will offer the victims is of high quality”, said Sherlutska Martinus. (We'll see about that...)

STOP THE TAX HAVENS! STOP THE CORRUPTION AND GREED!

Antilles oppose place on list of tax haven

WILLEMSTAD/WASHINGTON – Together with 33 other islands/countries, the Neth. Antilles appears on a recent proposed bill by three American senators that want to engage the tax haven abuse (abuse of tax paradises) (Aruba and the Netherland Antilles are on this list.) Via diplomatic channels in Willemstad, The Hague, and Washington; the Antillean government is vigorously protesting against that. (Why? Bad for tourism? Bad for organized crime?)

This is the so-called Levin-Coleman-Obama Stop Tax Haven Abuses Act. The democratic American presidential candidate Barack Obama is among the three senators that introduced the bill. Being mentioned on the list of 34 ‘offshore secrecy jurisdictions’, as the countries in the document are being describes, can have an adverse effect on the financial sector.

As a matter of fact, the Antilles have done everything possible lately, not to be reputed as tax haven. For example, with the New Fiscal Outline (NFR) the entire tax system – especially with regard to the international financial service - is turned. Meanwhile, the Antilles received the hallmark of the European Union (EU) and of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), acknowledged the former Dutch minister of Finance, Gerrit Zalm (VVD) during a lecture for the Antillean Central Bank.

Secretary of state Alex Rosaria (PNP) of Fiscal Affairs says that the government in Willemstad is doing everything possible via diplomatic channels to get the name of the Antilles removed from this list. “The law is not enacted yet, but we also do not want this to assume a life of its own.” He points out that the United States has recently ratified the treaty in connection with exchanging tax information. Meanwhile, Rosaria has contact with the American consulate-general in Curacao, Robert Sorenson, about this and says that Finance and Foreign Affairs in The Hague are aware of this and that minister Plenipotentiary Norberto Ribeiro at the Dutch embassy in Washington is brought in.

Also Aruba appears on the challenged list.
It’s not clear yet what this island is going to do against this. The US-senators write in an elucidation that the 34 jurisdictions were taken from the American tax service, IRS that identifies these countries as possible locations for evasion of American taxes.

SOMETHING TO PONDER...

If you have seen many of the news specials with Greta regarding Natalee, you might remember how she went on and on about how there HAD to be witnesses on the beach. Then she mentioned an individual who lives on the beach stating, "a drug dealer who is related to a high ranking official." We all know who she is talking about!

WHY IS THAT A SECRET?

It has been a known fact for many months that Gerold Dompig is related to the infamous "beach bum" drug dealer, Bouti (Booty?). Why did Greta and her talking-head guest not mention this or use their names when their identities are already known? I also felt the way she spoke about them was very odd. It was something in her voice. What is she trying to hide? Grow some balls Greta...name names, bring up the relevant information that you are privy to and that could lead the case in another direction. Maybe then the Dutch would interview Booty and Dompig!?

SO MY QUESTION IS:

Why did Greta NOT use Booty and Dompig's name?

DUTCH DISGUSTED WITH JORAN'S BOOK

Bon Dia Aruba
April 2007

Contents of the book have the Dutch people angry and disgusted because of what he writes. Joran vd Sloot published a book on the Holloway case and describes himself as a 'Pathological Liar' and still believes in his innocence related to the Natalee Holloway case. His mother will also publish a book but at the end of this year.

His biggest error that he made was to leave Natalee Holloway alone on the beach. This he says in his book brought a lot of negative attention to him. During a television program this week in the Netherlands (the only interview he gave) he describes in detail what happened, according to him that night, when he met Holloway.

It must be said that the Dutch newspapers wrote about the book and also gave its readers the opportunity to react on the book and this young person. It must be said that practically none of the comments were positive and most were venting hate and anger towards this young person and all were considering him as a threat and a disgrace to society. Very little, here and there, left a good word for vd Sloot, who is well aware of his acts. Vd Sloot is aware of the fact that this case can be 'stashed away' [translating 'doofpot' - ag]. But he is so tired of this entire case that he does not care what happens now.

For now, he is studying business and some day wants to return to Aruba to start a business on Aruba. The question that many made was if the contents of the books could have an influence on the case that is still in full investigation and if it can affect him as such in an either positive or negative way, because the book is fairly detailed about what happened.

At the same moment vd Sloot continues and repeats various times that is a liar and that he still likes to lie and it comes easy to him. His first relationship that he had when he went to the Netherlands last year, lasted a very short time because of these reasons. But now he has a stable relationship with a person who believes what he tells her. And that's why he does not want to lie anymore. Time will say if the book that he published will have any effects on the case that is still ongoing.

At the same moment, Anita vd Sloot also has an idea for a book on this topic from a mother's point of view, and what were her feelings around this case. But seeing that her son published his book first, Anita vd Sloot decided that she is not going to publish hers yet until the end of the year to give her son a chance to get on the market and see how the reaction is.

WILL THEY FIND A BODY? DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH...

ORANJESTAD, Aruba -- New information has been received in the new search for missing Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway. So far, 20 investigators searched the Van Der Sloot property Saturday and Sunday, but what are investigators hoping to find on the Van Der Sloot's property?

Long steel rods were brought onto the property, and NBC 13 asked an expert what that is used for. Leroy Parker, a crime lab analyst for the state of Florida, explained why two years after Holloway’s disappearance, thin steel rods are being used to search the yard of main suspect Joran Van Der Sloot's home.

“They have a pointed end and they're trying to measure any disturbances in the soil. If the soil is disturbed, then the rod will go down much easier than if it hadn't been disturbed up to the point where they dug down to,” he said. Parker, on the phone from his lab in Orlando, talked about using SONAR, or ground penetrating radar, like that used on the Van Der Sloot property this weekend. “We've used that in the field in areas where we think the body has been buried and buried for some time, because it shows the disturbance or the different density in the soil and that would give us some indication if something is buried there and how large is the object that is buried,” he said.

Parker doesn't think this is all being done for a piece of clothing. He believes investigators must have a hunch there is a body buried there. He said they would look for a change in the yard's landscape.

“The body decomposes and there should be a depression in that area, so unless there is some indication that there's a change in vegetation, a depression in that area, or some concrete evidence that the body might be buried there, I can't imagine them using any probe rods,” he said.

MIAMI TRAVEL SHOW--GRASSROOTS MEMBERS TAKIN' CARE OF BUSINESS!

Some awesome members of the Grassroots Boycott Aruba Movement attended the Miami Travel show...and did they SHOW! A little at a time, we are ALL making a difference! Thanks to all those involved...you did a FANTASTIC job and made a DIFFERENCE!

First Update:

Things seem to be going very well indeed. On Saturday the team managed to put a sign on the marquee of the Sheraton Hotel, and it wasn't taken down. Today they have a huge sign mounted between two trees, where everyone who drives by has to see it.

The feedback from people driving by is tremendous, with lots of gestures of support, hand waving, horns beeping, etc. It seems clear that people are thoroughly angry with Aruba. This definitely appears to be another successful protest.

No justice for Natalee ... no tourists for Aruba!

Final Update by "Grass":

Today 28 April 2007, I arrived at the convention center at 8:45am and left at 4:30pm. A very long day in the sun. The signs and banners were beautiful. The first thing you see when coming off the expressway is the banner on my van. There were banners everywhere. A huge banner huge outside of the convention center on the Sheraton marquee and all entrances had signs. There was a lot of traffic from a back up by valet parking, and hotel blamed us. They called the police and told us we were not allowed near entrance but signs could stay. If an accident happened we would be responsible, and if they had to come back we would be asked to leave.

Some people waved, some gave thumbs up. No one spoke English except for police and the hotel staff that blamed us. I had some horns toot, not sure if it was because of Natalee or my short shorts! LOL! So many said they would pray, and last night we were on the Spanish news channel, they were talking about the protest, I love it.

I myself want to give special thanx to lousw; my wife's best friend Ivonne who is from Cuba for transcribing Spanish. More special thanx to LindaK for the buttons; Jamie's sister Kathy; her husband and employee for the lovely signs and banner just for my van; their lovely daughter for the digital banners and digital signs; and Kathy's friend Debbie that came with her on Sunday; and of course Buttafly and her husband Willie, and thank you Miami--Grass

JORAN: "I AM STILL LYING EVERY DAY"

HEY LADIES! HERE'S A REAL CATCH--
A KEEPER FOR SURE!
UNLESS YOU
SURVIVE, THAT IS...

"I am still lying every day, I am a pathological liar, the whole
world revolves around me, and I like being compared to O.J."

(Source)--AMSTERDAM - Joran van der Sloot calls himself a pathological liar still believes in his own innocence. (An oxymoron???) "I made the biggest mistake of my life by leaving Natalee alone on the beach. She lied (sic) next to me, we felt each others body. At that moment I thought: 'We are not going to have real sex here, (But he later states he did? Which is it Joran?) I have trial exams tomorrow and just want to go home. Don't bother anymore, I thought. She can walk to the hotel with ease. That is her worry, I didn't even like her" (What a nice guy...and by the way, what guy NEEDS to LIKE a girl in order to have sex?)

On top of that Joran even admits he preferred to have sex with Natalee's friend Ruth...(However, in his interview with Greta last year he said that he was interested in Natalee's friend, Kathleen...another lie, perhaps?) He stubbornly denies to have anything to do with the mysterious disappearance of the American student. "I am still main suspect, lied about that night on the beach but didn't harm her."

The absence of the then 18 year old American student Natalee Holloway on Aruba, now almost 2 years ago touched him mentally in a big way. "I hate myself because I lied so much, about everything. The unpleasant thing is that I am still lying every day. That comes with ease, still" He does not try to hide it. "I thought the whole world always revolved around me. Because of that I was silent about the truth back then. That was stupid. (No Joran, YOU are stupid. Your excuse for lying makes NO SENSE...just because "the world revolves around you" [gag], you lie? How stupid do you think we are? As stupid as you?)

That night I had sex with her
and left her alone on the beach. I didn't even knew her name." "In fact I should be treated for the constant lying, but I am too stubborn for that. I am being compared w/ OJ in the US", he says proudly.

His parents wanted him to go to the child psychologist already before the vanishing. "I could not get on very well with my brother. I didn't mesh. But I didn't like that treatment at all." The second year student of Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, stays self confident. He does not want to be depicted as a murderer. In his birth town Arnhem he follows IBMS International Business Management Studies. "I want to start my own business on Aruba in the future. That is my homeland." (Perhaps a call girl business? "Pimps-R-Us"?)

Today appears his autobiography about the mess (the mess Joran et al created...no pity party for you sucker!) that reached the American- and even world press. "I wrote it like a diary. Not to prove my innocence, but to come to terms with it myself." (Do you lie to your diary as well?)

On the 30th of May 2005 the blond tourist vanishes without a trace after being intensely intimate on the white beach with the tall Van der Sloot for part of the night and having consumed quite some alcohol. "She wanted more, but I did not have any condoms. Then she fell asleep." (Joran stated that he never had sex with her BECAUSE he didn't have condoms! Now he says he DID have sex and couldn't continue because he ran out? I think that's another example of his admission "I am still lying every day.")

Several hours before the amorous petting he enjoyed himself together with his friends, the brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe and female American students, including Natalee. That happened at the black jack table of the Excelsior Casino of the Holiday Inn hotel. Natalee keeps pushing that she wants to come with the boys. "I told her I had a trial exam the next day." (Even though he told her that he was a tourist...now he has an exam?)

Nevertheless he caves in under the pressure of the girl. (Oh yeah...a beautiful girl really has to pressure a horny, drunk 17 year old boy. Give me a break!) Around midnight he is picked up from home in the pimped Honda Civic of Deepak Kalpoe. "I want to see sharks", Natalee says. The duo is dropped of at fishing huts by the friends of Van der Sloot. (Which lie was that one?)

Joran reveals all sexual details. That he touched her breasts and reproductive organ, but didn't know her name. "We fiddled with each others bodys (sic). In total the meeting took three hours. But I'd rather have had sex with her girlfriend Ruth. She was more pretty. (First he says they didn't have sex, now they just "fiddled" for three hours; then in the same sentence he said he would rather have had sex with Ruth...or was it Kathleen?)

Van der Sloot, who is arrested soon after, lies everything together over the next days. With his friends, the brothers Kalpoe agree when it appears that the blond American has vanished from the earth. "Why did we decide to lie (about) what happened that night? "I could not do different. They would have considered me guilty directly." (One who expects guilt from others is usually guilty)

The suspect in the sensational disappearance case cheated on his new sweetheart as soon as he returned to Dutch soil. That relationship was over in a few days. "Fortunately I have a girlfriend who believes me unconditionally now. I will not deceive her. For that matter, she did not read my book yet." (Although he clearly stated above he is still lying every day...how could he not deceive someone with that admission?)

He became sick of the American media. "The saturation coverage of the Holloway-case resulted in high viewing figures for the big tv stations." Also the notion that Aruba, because of the vanishing and suggested coverup (they?) wanted to boycott the island economically. It doesn't bother him anymore now. (It doesn't bother him because the boycott does NOT affect HIM. Sociopaths only care about one person...THEMSELVES.)

For the time being he doesn't want to set foot on American soil. "I think that Natalees mom can't suppress her hate feelings. The family still depicts me as criminal, perilous and corrupt." (Not to mention that if he was seen or known to be in the U.S. he would probably be immediately lynched by some deranged vigilante. And honestly, I can't say I'd be sad about it, either.)

NATALEE'S BODY? MORE SPIN?

What ever happened to "No Body, No Case", Paulus?

A highly placed government official told Amigoe last week that the team expects to find Holloway's remains soon in Aruba, But official channels do not confirm this. The tracks-investigation at the family home of Joran van der Sloot, who is still the main suspects in this case, will possibly take a few days.

Experts of among others the Dutch Forensic Institute are combing out the house and the grounds around it and dogs have been put in. The OM does not want to tell what the reason is for this investigation and what they are looking for.

The local authorities, the FBI, and officials of the Dutch Forensic Institute have already searched this house at numerous occasions before, and have confiscated several items and also 2 cars belonging to family Van der Sloot.
