KARIN JANSSEN WOMAN OF THE YEAR?
Now it makes perfect sense to me...if Aruba named her woman of the year, I'm sure they will name PVS man of the year for his poise and patience for having to put up with this 'Natalee Holloway matter'.
Isn't this the same woman who decided to take a vacation in the middle of investigating this case? Hmmm...gotta wonder where these people's brains are. Obviously up their asses!
ORANJESTAD (AAN) DIARIO’s Woman of the Year for this year is Karin P. J. Janssen who is chief prosecutor for the Public Ministry.
The reason Mrs. Karin Janssen was selected as Woman of the Year is for the work conducted during this year, but especially for the firm position she too un a case that has surely had a big impact on Aruba and internationally, the case of the missing American woman called Natalee.
It is known that Karin Janssen was and still is the chief of the investigation into the controversial case of Natalee’s disappearance.
There is much pressure on chief prosecutor, from the outside and even within the Public Ministry related to the case in question and she passed very difficult moments where even the government wanted to remove her.
(She worked so hard she went on vacation (out of the country, far, far away) during a crucial part of the investigation!)
(Respect? From whom? Arubans respect this woman because she is working to cover things up? Oooh...such pressure and courage, Karin! I suppose if my country's survival was on the line, I'd name her woman of the year, too.)
(Yeah, she keeps a cool head because she never did and hasn't done JACK from DAY ONE...I suppose if one doesn't give a crap about a case it wouldn't cause stress or being hot-headed, now would it?!)

Chief prosecutor Janssen worked hard alongside police to hand over proof on the case of Natalee and although on all sides they encountered many obstacles, they did not lose patience and continued working hard to solve a great problem in which the people of Aruba are not at fault.

None of the negative developments nor the great pressure have made this lady succumb and she has fostered respect and shown great courage.

Once again, a woman in a key position demonstrates that they can maintain a cool head and continue ahead to do their duty and their professional obligation, like Mrs. Karin Janssen has shown during the year.

After the rumour was spread she went on vacation it one week later turned out to be not a vacation at all but a workvisit to the netherlands regarding the holloway case. that was acknowledged and published on the net by all the newsagencies.
Ah well... I guess it takes so much effort to stay biased that it is just not possible to follow any relevant news. Oh and before you start in 6 months about tapes of the dr. phil show...no my dear that isn't what was said...what was broadcast was doctored. most of us know that by now (even dumbass redneck americans). So do everyone a favour...boycot Aruba and go to Iraq instead...it is afterall very safe now thanks to the US efforts isn't it?

They are giving her the award for much the same reason the protagonist in the movie "The Importance of Objects" got "atty of the year" (while another person was promoted to Partner in the firm.
They are buying her off using appeal to EGO, , because she (I believe) tried to prosecute using evidence and was twarted. They are thinking this little treat will keep her off of Greta
and other shows to "out" the incompetance of the aruban government and ongoing coverups.
From the looks of it Karin Janssen may be leaving around the 16th according to Jossy. Fired!
My guess is that's why they are bringing in the Prosecutor from Curacao.
KJ is one heartless woman, how the hell she got woman of the year is mind boggling.
