YES, ANITA! JORAN WAS INDEED ARRESTED...OPEN YOUR EYES!

Anita! Listen up! Your son is a SOCIOPATH. Please open your eyes and see what he has done. You can't escape this fact!

A Dutch judge on Thursday approved the transfer of Joran van der Sloot to Aruba. Van der Sloot was arrested Wednesday in the central city of Arnhem on suspicion of involvement in voluntary manslaughter and causing serious bodily harm that resulted in Holloway's death.

Two other suspects, Surinamese brothers Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, were arrested in Aruba.

In a closed hearing that lasted just over a half hour, a court in Arnhem confirmed Van der Sloot's identity and said that he had been arrested properly - clearing the way for his transfer to Aruba, prosecutor Dop Kruimel said in a telephone interview. Kruimel said Van der Sloot will be flown to Aruba within days.

Van der Sloot's Dutch attorney, Leon van den Eeden, criticized the decision to send his client to Aruba after he had worked hard to build a life in the Netherlands.

Holloway's father said Thursday that he and a team of experts will search for his daughter's body in waters off Aruba following the recent re-arrest of three suspects in the case. He believes his daughter's body was thrown into the ocean in deeper waters than those already searched. He said he based that belief on conversations with a police official and a private forensic expert. "It's like this: we've searched all the land areas ... It's common knowledge on the island that if someone were to dispose of the body, it would be out in the ocean,"

"I CAUTION AGAINST TOO MUCH OPTIMISM IN THIS CASE"

Here's to the HORSE'S ASS OF THE DAY! JOE TACOPUKO

Yes, that headline is correct. Those were his exact words this Thanksgiving morning while being interviewed on Good Morning America.

What does he caution against? Finding the answers? Natalee? The truth?

Or the optimism of his ability to represent
his obviously guilt-ridden client(s)???

(note "client(s)". Paulus 'aint off the hook.)

INVESTIGATOR ADOLPHO RICHARDSON OPTIMISTIC

The public prosecutor's office has ordered their renewed arrest because further investigation into the disappearance has led to new incriminating evidence, the statement said.

Adolpho Richardson, one of the lead investigators in the case, would not discuss the new evidence but said he was optimistic about it. He said the arrests were not related to a Dec. 31 deadline that prosecutors have under Aruban law to determine whether to move forward with the case.

"This case is not going to go unsolved -- not on my watch," he said Wednesday.

http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2007/11/new_evidence_leads_to_rearrest.html

ANITA'S DENIAL

Hans Mos, chief prosecutor in Aruba, declined to discuss the new evidence or any other details about the case.

"Our intention is to keep them in detention for a longer period," he said.

Van der Sloot's mother, Anita, denied her son was arrested and said he was only taken into custody for more questioning. She said he wasn't put in handcuffs.

"What they want to do with Joran is to bring him to Aruba for a final reconstruction," Anita van der Sloot said by telephone from the family's home in Aruba.

She said her family and that of the Kalpoe brothers had also been questioned in recent weeks.

"The questions they asked were so obvious, things like, 'Why did Joran leave his shoes on the beach?'" she said, referring to the place where her son said he kissed Holloway alone before her disappearance. "I think it's ridiculous after two-and-a-half years to be doing this."

The brothers were expected to make an initial appearance in an Aruban court Friday, at which point prosecutors were expected to present the new evidence to a judge. A court date in the island had not yet been set for van der Sloot.

Wim de Bruin, a spokesman for the Dutch national prosecutor's office, said van der Sloot could be sent to Aruba without an extradition hearing and the transfer would occur "within several days."

In April, investigators from the Netherlands dug around the home of van der Sloot's family for two days without revealing what prompted the search. Then in May, Dutch and Aruban investigators visited the home where Deepak and Satish Kalpoe live with their parents for what authorities termed an "inspection," without revealing details.

Joe Tacopina just stated on Fox that his source that there is new evidence and it concerns Deepak and Satish and not Joran.

It doesn't matter who did what...they were all complicit in a conspiracy to cover up a death!!!

And of course Julia has to get her media-whore ass in here as well: She just stated on Fox that they (Joran et al.) will go to Court on Friday.

Now she's talking out of her ASS... First she said they (the prosecutors) won't be presenting any evidence at that time, then after rambling on, she said all three will see the evidence at Court on Friday.

FOX NEWS!!! Get her off the air, please!!!

WILL THIS BE A HOLIDAY MIRACLE OR ANOTHER SMOKE-SCREEN?

An Aruban Boycott member sent this to me this afternoon. This person claims it was posted on Blogs for Natalee. I rarely trust these blogs/forums due to gossip, backstabbing and insidious rumors, but I thought I should post this IN CASE it is for real:

Hey Michelle--

Reality posted this today:
A credible source just told me it appeared Deepak and Satish were just picked up for questioning in Aruba. Joran was also picked up in Holland for the same. They don't have any more details at this time. Then I read this by Debbie (she confirmed with Robin Holloway) I have made some inquiries and this information is correct. As soon as other info is available I will post.

MAILBAG TIME!

How fun! A "Letter to the Editor"! And WOW! It's about our favorite hermaphrodite, Julia Renfro. Isn't she such an easy target to make fun of?! I love it! Thanks to the person that sent this to me.

Mother wanted to hide Natalee Holloway’s rehabilitation past

WILLEMSTAD/ORANJESTAD – Beth Twitty, the mother of Natalee Holloway that disappeared 2.5 years ago in Aruba, has done everything to hide the drug addiction past of her daughter.

Documentary maker Renée Gielen came to this conclusion. As a result of Beth Twitty’s recently published book, ‘Loving Natalee, the true story of Aruban kidnapping and its aftermath’, she threw herself even more empathetically into the case. She bases herself on declarations of Jug Twitty’s search in and around cholhouses in Aruba at that time. By now, Jug Twitty is the ex-husband of Beth. When Jug was asked why he was doing that, he said: “Because Natalee was recently in drug rehab in the US.”

THIS IS WRONG

“After I read the book, I got the feeling that there is something wrong here. The lies in the book and the many other doubtful claims and occurrences in the past 2.5 years made me think: Has Beth really wanted Natalee to be found?” For Gielen, who already has dozens of hours of visual material and is working on a documentary, this is reason for her to soon travel to the United States and go further into the Holloway-case.

Documentary maker to the US for ‘real story’ on Holloway

WILLEMSTAD/ORANJESTAD – “When I looked her in the eyes, I knew that something was not right, and from that moment on, I ducked down in the case; and I am still on it”, says documentary maker Renée Gielen about Beth Twitty, the mother of Natalee Holloway. Gielen ducked down into one of worlds most discussed disappearance cases two-and-a-half years ago and was especially moved by the strange behavior of Natalee’s mother, whom she interviewed in June of 2005 in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Aruba for the Dutch TV-program TweeVandaag. “At that time, I didn’t know yet what I saw in her eyes; one thing I knew, I didn’t have a sad mother sitting in front of me. I know now what I saw then: a mother with a lot of problems.”

Gielen, who lives and works in Curacao, came earlier this year with video-recordings including declarations of persons involved, which put the case in a new light. Amigoe reported this and the Dutch current affairs programme Network broadcasted it thereupon. As a result of the recently published book of Beth Twitty ‘Loving Natalee, the true story of Aruban kidnapping and its aftermath’, she’s now working on a documentary with new material on tape, together with Dolph van Stapele, Peter Ranzijn, Michel Drente, and Suzanne Jansen.

Gielen is now getting ready to go to the United States for further inquiry. She describes Beth’s book as ‘an image building story with a first class rabble-rousing’.

“After I read the book, I got the feeling that there is something wrong here.” That confirmed her suspicions. The lies in the book and the many other doubtful claims and occurrences in the past 2.5 years made me think: Has Beth really wanted Natalee to be found?”

IDEAL DAUGHTER

Gielen points out that Natalee was never put on FBI’s official list of missing persons. She also says that the surveillance tape of the Holiday Inn that shows a blond woman, was not sent to the Forensic Institution in Rijswijk, because Twitty said that the woman was not Natalee. Gielen says that she has information that reveals that Natalee did not at all meet the image that her mother Beth likes to portray her: the dream daughter, a virgin that has never done something wrong in her life, doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, has never experimented with drugs; the Christian girl that in all sorts of manners propagated her biblical ideas in volunteer work and was an example for all other young persons.

According to Gielen, the truth is the reverse of all of the above. Natalee has even been in a drug rehabilitation clinic right before she came to Aruba. The girl had such a good time in Aruba that she didn’t want to leave the island. Natalee had the male persons present ‘lick her belly jellies’ on the bar, was smoking dope on the beach, and her girlfriends even warned her not to drink so much, recites Gielen. Natalee’s ‘addiction’ was brought up in an interview that Gielen has on tape, with the Aruban taxi driver Trina (for her protection no family name), who also appears in the book (as the only taxi driver) called by her first name. She tells Gielen that when Beth’s by now second ex-husband and his friend Mitch were in her Taxi, they asked her if she can take them to cholhouses on the island. “When she asked why, they told her that Natalee has recently been in rehab in the US”, said Gielen.

Gielen dares to say that in the days, months, and by now years after the disappearance of her daughter, Beth Twitty wants just one thing: disguise Natalee’s outrageous behavior and the way she disappeared. She only needed one thing for that: a whipping boy. And that was Joran van der Sloot, the boy with whom she was seen last, in the company of the two Surinam brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe; they must have done it. Gielen says that Joran made the mistake by the first instance lie about leaving Natalee behind. “Besides, he writes that in his book, in which he does not spare himself.”

BE NO GOOD

The assertions of Beth Twitty in the course of time confirm the idea that she has played a peculiar part. Gielen names a few examples. “Twitty manages to say in interviews – FOX News, Geraldo – that the Dutch government has used the tragic occurrences around hurricane Katrina to release the suspects in Aruba in September of 2005. ‘Rape is not a crime for the Dutch government’, she added.” Twitty asserts in the same interview that there are five declarations in which Joran van der Sloot admits having had sex with Natalee in his house and that Natalee became unconscious so now and then, while these declarations do not exist, says Gielen. “You must have a lot of courage, when you write in your book that during a meeting in Aruba with Ahata, you make the statement that everything was a cover-up from Aruba’s side and that the then chairman of Ahata would have whispered ‘yes, that’s correct’, while you can count that this can be checked, which I did”, says Gielen.

Twitty writes that the Strategic Communications Task Force that Aruba established, was done ‘to combat the negative media and to combat us’. “A member of the task force contradicts this and says that the task force has always tried not to take an extreme position. In the beginning, the strategic task force has even set herself up as liaison for her. They fixed hotels for her and facilitated her press conferences. They have even collected money.”

The member can only guess that Beth experienced the website – that nuanced her often unfounded statements and accusations that caused the island harm – as an attack on her.

Gielen also quotes that Twitty has repeatedly insinuated that her daughter had no bankcard with her, ‘because it was in her bedroom in Alabama’. “This while Jug Twitty –Natalee’s stepfather, whom Beth has meanwhile divorced – and a friend were talking in a taxi about Natalee withdrawing money twice since her disappearance, after which they have blocked her account.”

Beth writes in her book that she felt threatened by Charles Croes, who as owner of a ‘rental cell phone company’, was real fast involved with the case and offered help on all fronts. Beth says that he has pose as ‘clairvoyant’ and supposedly has asked her about her sex life when he was alone with her in the car. A girlfriend had rescued her just in time. “These are not the only insults of Twitty to Croes’ address. Croes tells his story in an interview I had with him recently, and that is completely different. Besides, Croes confirms Twitty’s ties with the White House. Jug Twitty told him: ‘I have very long fingers that can reach all the way to the White House’. It already appeared earlier that via Jug, Beth had contacts with Condoleezza Rice, who, via the Dutch Justice-minister, managed to have Aruba make the case a ‘high profile one’.

Dear Michelle:

I am a blogger who is fed up with the lies, lies, and more lies coming out of the mouth of Julia Renfro from Aruba about Natalee Holloway and her friends and family. And it’s pathetically obvious that Julia was Renee’s source. Think about it. Haven’t we heard of another infamous “taxi driver”? Wasn’t this where Julia tried to sprout the Blue eyed Dutch boy theory?

For anyone who thought the Amigoe was a reputable newspaper, think again.

Would a reputable newspaper print such outrageous lies about a crime victim and her family without checking sources first? Probably not. Here is the connection between Julia Renfro and the Amigoe Newspaper.

Heleen Bongers came to live on Aruba in 1977. After having taught English at La Salle College for a few years, she started working at Amigoe, Algemeen Dagblad and The News. Nowadays, she is a freelancer, writing articles for magazines and for charity projects. She travels a lot to buy the latest jewelry for her five stores (Beauty and the Beast). Heleen Bongers is secretary of the Clown Doctors of Aruba and the Sports for Life Foundation. She is married to Evert Bongers, a retired French teacher at Colegio Arubano.

WEEERE BACK....ANOTHER PROTEST!

Remember in my previous post "We'reee Back"???

By Richard, Aruban Boycott Member

This is a brief report on today's demonstration/protest against Aruba Tourism Authority. It was held at the Valley Forge Convention Center, or a name very similar to that, although it was billed as happening in a town called King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Somehow there is something appealing in the idea of demonstrating at Valley Forge. It wasn't QUITE as cold as it probably was in George Washington's day, but none of us mutinied. Anyway, here's a basic overview of what happened, at least as I saw it.

JusticeforNatalee and her husband dropped in; she had taken part in the "original" Boston protest, and we were all pleased that she joined us. None of the rest of us had ever met, but we all worked together effectively. Arrangements had been made with security, who gave us a place to stand near a main entrance to the convention center.

This place had a huge parking lot, so it wasn't like the Boston event, where everyone had to pass by us. As there was at least one other main entrance, a number of people might have not seen us. Also, the traffic pattern in the huge parking lot was chaotic at the best. Anyone who pulled over to take our pamphlets, read our signs, or to just take a look risked incurring an accident. I think that a post in front of an entrance would have been safer for everyone. Still and all, these were the arrangements that security at the event gave us.

As in Boston, we were not allowed to hand out literature within the convention center, or to wear "protest clothing" inside. Thanks to Jamie of Alabama, we had received a number of her beautiful signs and sweatshirts. Vicki in Florida deserves lots of credit for supervising all of these things with her usual efficiency and spreading the word to everyone.

The main point that's worth making is that (as far as I know) we heard NOT ONE PRO-ARUBA COMMENT. Not everyone who came to talk with us criticized Aruba, but many did. A number of people signaled their support of us, and (I think) more people here, than in Boston, took some trouble to tell us that they agreed with us in wanting to boycott Aruba.

We also heard some interesting remarks. One woman said that she goes to this same travel show every year to tell Aruba that she had no plans to return. She said that he had to cancel one planned trip, and had to forfeit a deposit of $150. When she called to ask if she could get it back, she said, Aruba began a pattern of what she called harassment ... making nuisance calls to her from Aruba, threatening, and being generally offensive. She said that she had complained to the FBI about it.

Five or six travel agents took our literature and expressed sympathy. Two of them told us that the Aruban 'delegation' was annoying all of the other participants; they were loud, noisy, and generally were unpopular and clashed with the others there.

Some of us went into the travel show arena (in 'civilian' clothes, of course), and their reports confirmed what we were told by some other people: Aruba had more floor space than any other delegation at the event, and yet its booths were getting very little interest. This is a subjective opinion, of course, but the consensus was that almost nobody seemed interested in finding out information on Aruba.

One woman who had taken our literature earlier in the day told us that the Aruban booths were nearly deserted, and that she was there when one couple wandered over. One of the workers there began giving them 'sales talk,' and she intervened, telling the couple "Don't go to Aruba, it isn't even safe. Go ask those people outside (meaning us), and they'll tell you all about it." She said that the worker for Aruba just gaped at her.

Later on, she said, the couple went over to her privately and said they had decided not to go to Aruba. (Incidentally, except for two or three 'exotic dancers,' the staff at the Aruban booths were not Aruban. They appeared to be from a U.S. travel agency.

One of us, 10061096, said he thought that even the dancers seemed to be depressed by the lack of activity at the Aruban exhibit.) Yet another person said she had a timeshare in Aruba but would never use it again. One woman and her daughter strolled over to us, said that they had heard about Natalee, and on the basis of what they heard would never go to Aruba.

As in Boston, some people asked whether Natalee had been found yet. But I think that most people who reacted to our signs and literature remembered the case, and many said they thought there had been some sort of cover-up. Certainly the broad details were remembered, and many recognized Natalee's picture.

We got quite a number of gestures of support for our cause, and most people who responded seemed to agree that a boycott was a good idea. Some of them mentioned that they had read the book by Beth, Dave, or both. We will be trying to send photos later on. On Sunday (tomorrow), only NM and Richard will be able to take part.

DAY TWO

At the Valley Forge protest, we received at least three offers of donations. One woman who drove up in her car pulled over to see what we were about, scanned the handouts, pulled out a $5 bill and thrust it at us! (In about 20 seconds after pulling over.) We were startled, or at least I was, but we decided to decline all donations to avoid any imputations of "impure motives."

Some people asked if we were related to Natalee's family. We said (as we did at Boston) that we were not affiliated with the family in any way ... were not paid by them, or even asked by them, to appear at these events, and did not speak for them or represent them. We said that we were simply regular Americans who were irate at what Aruba has done (and not done), disgusted that our government has not stood up for Americans abroad, and that we are simply doing what we think is both prudent and morally right ... urging people not to go to Aruba, and to spread Natalee's story.

Finally, one more thing. There has been a lot of talk that the publicity given Natalee's case represents a kind of "rich white girl syndrome." Without addressing this, let me say that from what I saw, many of the people at the Valley Forge event who expressed support, and who praised us, were black. I hope that settles that issue. (Many of them also were travel agents.)

As I said before, two travel agents who took part in the actual travel show said that the people representing Aruba left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, so to speak.) Think of it: Aruba had six booths, representing more floor space than any other participant ... and yet, from what we were told and from what some of us saw, they were getting NO INTEREST.

As for Sunday, I have to say it was somewhat of an anti-climax. Only two of us could show up, and the weather was very cold: rain that threatened to mix with snow. I also had to begin a long drive that will culminate in Denver, so had to get on the road. The upshot was, we were there for half a day. Few people stopped by, but at least the beautiful signs that Jamie had sent were visible to all.

No justice for Natalee ... no tourism for Aruba.

ANOTHER PROTEST REPORT

By JB, Aruban Boycott Member

I paid to go in to see for myself what other visitors were saying which was "No one is stopping at the Aruba Booths. Even though they have the biggest..." No one was interested in Aruba yet other Caribbean Resorts had plenty of visitors. Even the people manning the Aruban booths looked depressed for lack of visitors.

Several approached us and took literature and expressed their concern for Natalee and her family and said they would not go to Aruba.

One woman told us of an bad experience she had with Aruba. She wanted her deposit back for a trip and was harassed by Aruba. She mentioned that she attends this travel show every year just to tell Aruba she will never go there!

One women inside saw two people approach the Aruba booth. Afterwards, she approached them to tell them that Aruba is not safe and not to go there. The two people thanked her and walked away form the Aruba booth.

Security was so helpful and sympathetic and without causing to much of a confrontation with the Arubans (who knew we were outside) provided us a secured area and said that if we were harassed one little bit we were to notify the security desk.

Dan, head of security, Dave and Brandon were terrific and really made us feel we were doing a worth well cause.

I'M GETTING A PREMONITION

THE POOP IS HITTIN' THE FAN RIGHT NOW IN SABA

By Richard, Aruban Boycott Contributor

Attn Mr. Larry Benjamin

Dear Mr. Benjamin:

It is my understanding that letters to the editor of the Asbury Park Press are to be sent to your attention. I accordingly invite you to print the following, should you so desire.

To Whom It May Concern:

I wish to give to the family of Joel Gove what consolation I can in the recent discovery of his body on the island of Saba. This finding ends any question about his fate. I trust that the local government will do what it can to probe any lingering suspicions of foul play.

Yet the matter should not end here. It is my understanding that after some initial half-hearted efforts at searching, the local authorities refused to carry on. I also believe that early in the search effort, these same authorities objected to the display of missing-person posters.

And I am certain that both local authorities and the Dutch military refused to follow up on the family's request that certain mountain areas be searched. Consequently, the family were forced to undertake fund-raising efforts to round up sufficient funds for private efforts.

This indifference to the well-being of guests to their country would be shameful if it were the first instance of it. But we know that it was not.

In 1998, Amy Lynn Bradley of Richmond, Va., disappeared from a cruise ship as it was docking at the port of Curacao. There is reason to believe that she remains alive, in a situation of duress. Yet it appears that the Curacao government is indifferent.

The night before she vanished from the ship, it docked at Aruba. Members of the crew invited her to go with them to Carlos 'n' Charlies, the same bar where Natalee Holloway of Alabama was last seen in May 2005. No person who has followed the case can doubt that elements of Aruba's government and law enforcement are engaged in a conspiracy to prevent Natalee's family from learning of her fate, and apparently to protect certain individuals of the island from prosecution.

Is there something about the Netherlands Antilles that makes duplicity and corruption the hallmark of these islands? Is the apparent confusion between the Dutch and the locals about who exerts what powers (we have seen, and continue to see, Aruba and the Dutch squabble about even who is in charge of the Natalee Holloway investigation) tailor-made for crimes against tourists?

I have no idea. But it is not my duty to solve Caribbean problems, but to urge my own government to do what it can to protect the American people.

Beth Holloway Twitty, soon after Natalee disappeared on Aruba, urged Americans to boycott, voluntarily, tourism not only to Aruba but to all the Netherlands Antilles islands until answers were forthcoming.

So far we have gotten nothing from Aruba but lies and evasions. I believe that justice for Natalee Holloway, and Amy Bradley, ought to be our first concern.

I support, and am taking part in, the voluntary boycott of the Netherlands Antilles. I will continue to demand justice for missing Americans, there and elsewhere.

Boycott the Netherlands Antilles. As if your life depended on it.

JUDGE SMID "THE SQUID" & JUDGE WIT "THE TWIT"

**Much thanks to the Freebirds for their incredible research!

THE DUTCH JUDICIAL SYSTEM DE-RAILED THE NATALEE HOLLOWAY CASE

The Judicial Courts in Holland allowed conflicts of interest to run rampant through the Aruban courts in favor of Paulus and Joran van der Sloot.

Much has been said about the incompetence and corruption by the Aruban Prosecutor and Police Department in failing to bring justice in the Natalee Holloway case, but the Dutch Judicial system bears equal responsibility. The Dutch judges rulings in favor of the van der Sloot family reek of a good ole boy system that is hell bent on protecting their own nationality over foreigners who innocently get trapped in their criminal justice system.

A SERIOUS CONFLICT OF INTEREST

The courts in all of the Netherland Antilles are managed and executed from Holland, where judges are sent to the islands to preside over the judicial proceedings of Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire. Paulus van der Sloot, father of the prime suspect in Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, was a judge-in-training in this very judicial system, working alongside and making the acquaintance of the judges in the Dutch system. Indeed, it has been reported that some of these judges were very close friends outside the official duties of the courts.

EDITOR JOSSY MANSUR OF DIARIO NEWSPAPER

NANCY GRACE October 4, 2005

GRACE: … Jossy, regarding the connection, what I perceived to be a close connection between the judge, Paulus Van Der Sloot and the retired chief of police who initially handled Natalee`s case, Van Der Stratten, were they friends?

MANSUR:Of course, they were friends. It stands to reason they were friends because Paul Van Der Sloot had many friends within the police department; he had many friends within the Department of Justice. And he had many friends with -- and he was friendly with all the judges in Aruba. He worked out of the same office as they did and did the same work.

Such a close working relationship with the Dutch judges during his training created an obvious conflict of interest when his son, and he himself, became implicated in the disappearance and very possible murder of Natalee Holloway. The Dutch Judicial system in Holland should have recognized such an obvious hazard to justice but chose to do nothing, allowing friends and acquaintances of van der Sloot to preside over the court hearings of both Paulus and his son.

The outcome of the judges’ rulings in the Natalee Holloway case have cast a dark shadow over the Dutch judicial system. It should be noted that Paulus van der Sloot was also arrested in the case for conspiracy to commit murder, and these same judges ruled on his case as well. The end result, as one might expect, is that both van der Sloots were freed from prosecution. It is apparent from all the rulings in the case that the Dutch cannot police their own, justice be damned.

CHOOSING THE CURACAO JUDGES WAS A PUBLIC RELATIONS CHARADE

Two weeks into the the court process in this case, the Arubans announce that they were going to use Dutch judges from Curacao to make all of the court rulings so as to avoid a conflict of interest. The judges would be flown into Aruba to court hearings concerning Paulus van der Sloot, Joran an der sloot, Deepak Kalpoe, Satish Kalpoe and any others the prosecutor and police arrested.

We now know this was nothing but a charade. Bringing in the Dutch judges from Curacao was no different than using Aruban judges. There aren't that many judges on the islands, and they all work closely together within the same judicial circlies. Paulus van der Sloot trained under the Curacao judges just as he did those in Aruba and it has been reported that at least one of them stayed at his home while visiting the island.

The islands are closely located geographically and all work under the same Dutch court system. Why the judicial authorities in Holland didn't recognize this and demand a team of un-attached judges rule on such a high profile case is highly questionable.

JUDGE ROBERT WIT OBSTRUCTS THE GATHERING OF EVIDENCE

Joran van der Sloot was arrested on June 9, 2005 and a search warrant was issued for a complete search of the Van der Sloot residence and property five days later on June 14th. When the prosecution and police teams arrived to search the home they were met at the door by Dutch judge Robert Wit who summarily change the search warrant on the spot to exclude the Van der Sloot main residence and grounds, limiting the search only to Joran’s small apartment in the back of the house.

Judge Wit blocked the search of the van der Sloot residence even though he knew through Joran's police statements that he said he was in the main house in the early morning hours when he returned home after supposedly dropping Ms. Holloway off. In other words, Judge Wit ignored testimony by a key suspect to obstruct the collection of evidence from the suspect's residence.

Joran was arrested twice and his father was arrested once in the first month of the investigation. The main residence of the Van der Sloot home was never searched after either of these arrests.

BETH: Well I think they will always have to look at there were two personnel involved from the Aruban Justice Department and that is why we don’t have any evidence and that’s what Joran’s attorney will have to be reminded of. It’s because of Bob Witt and Ben King stopped the search warrants. It was made to initially search the entire area of Montanja 19 the garden, the buildings and everything but on the spot high ranking employee of the Justice Office Bob Witt reduced the search warrant to only the room of Joran so that’s why we don’t have any evidence because of involvement of the obstruction from the Aruban Justice Department personnel.

Judge Wit did this knowing that Joran had given statements that he was in the main house the night and morning Natalee Holloway went missing, and there may have been evidence to be obtained within. Judge Wit was assisted by Ben Vocking, a high ranking official in the Aruba Prosecutor’s office who had taken a leave of absence to take care of his friend Paulus van der Sloot during his “time of need.”

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN (FOX NEWS) November 27, 2006

VAN SUSTEREN: What about the search of the van der Sloot property? Was that ever done, and was, you know--including, sort of, the cabana area where Joran lives?

DE VRIES: Well, the search in the home address of the family Van der Sloot was very strange because the search warrant was made by head prosecutor Karin Janssen, and contained an allowance to search the whole address, “Montanja nineteen.” So, the gardens, the buildings--everything. But, when the police was on the spot, another high-ranking employee of the Justice office--it was Mr. Bob Witt--reduced the search warrant to only the room of Joran--and that was very strange.

PETER DEVRIES
THE ROBERT JENSEN SHOW (HOLLAND) November 28, 2006

DEVRIES: Yes the police missed several changes to do things right: when they wanted to search the house the door was opened by Mr. Ben King, an assistant of the Procurements Gen. office, the highest justice-office on the island, and a friend of the family who wanted to support the VdSloots in these difficult times… So clearly the search of the house hadn’t been a surprise to the VdSloots. And the police had a warrant for the complete estate but a judge - Bob Wit - who was at the house as well said only Joran's room could be searched.

These are things a Dutch crime-reporter is of course totaly astonished about. Justice Department official Ben King, who later admitted to the media that he was a close friend of Paulus Van der Sloot, claimed he was on vacation and therefore not acting on behalf of the Justice department. It was King who personally informed the search team they could only search the small apartment of Joran Van Der Sloot, located in the back yard of the property just behind the main residence, when they arrived.

Also present at the Van Der Sloot residence was Dutch Judge Bob Witt from Curacao, who was one judge presiding over the case. It should be noted that Paulus Van der Sloot was a Dutch judge-in-training at the time of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance.

By limiting the search of the van der Sloot residence and property, Judge Wit obstructed justice by inhibiting the collecting of evidence and should be removed from the bench, and charged with this crime, before he causes even more damage within the Dutch judicial system.

We will also note here that two innocent black security guards were arrested for the crime four days before Joran was detained. The judge did not limit the search when they were paraded before the media while the Prosecutor and Police ransacked their full residences. The two guards were later released but not before the Dutch judge had made sure their lives were made miserable.

How ironic that the Dutch judges had no consideration for two black security guards who were arrested for a crime they had nothing to do with, and yet had time to block the search of a fellow white Dutch compatriot whose son, Joran van der Sloot, is still to this day the main suspect in the disappearance and murder of Natalee Holloway.

COLLUSION BETWEEN A DUTCH JUDGE AND THE ARUBA GOVERNMENT

Under Dutch law it is optional for a judge to attend the search of a suspect's house. We found no evidence one had been present at the security guards' homes when they were raided. Yet, we find Judge Bob Wit not only attending the search of the van der sloot home but already in the house when the search team arrives, destroying any element of surprise the authorities may have gained.

At the van der Sloot residence with Judge Wit was a high ranking official of the Aruba Prosecutor's office, Ben Vocking, who served as the Head of the Department of Prosecutor Support. The Prosecutor, Karin Jannsen at the time, is the very person who called for a search warrant so it is safe to assume both Judge Bob Wit and Ben Vocking had inside information into the search and many other aspects of the case. Vocking had taken a leave of absence the day after Natalee Holloway disappeared to be with his friend Paulus van der Sloot in his time of need. Clearly this is yet another conflict of interest between the government and the suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot.

But the fact that Judge Bob Wit was at the home with government official Ben Vocking when the search party arrived raises even deeper questions about collusion between the judiciary and goverment. Certainly a judge does not go to a home and greet the suspects and inform them of an impending search before the authorities arrive. This would go against the grain of any effective investigation and curry favor to the suspect. Should the judge have not been with the Prosecutor and Police when they arrived at the house? Why was Judge Bob Wit already in the house?

All of this suggests collusion between a Dutch judge and a high ranking official from the Aruba Prosecutor's office to obstruct justice in the Natalee Holloway case.

JUDGE RICK SMID SHIELDS MAIN SUSPECT FROM PROSECUTION

In a hearing on June 1, 2005 Dutch judge Rick Smid ruled there was sufficient evidence to keep Joran van der Sloot in detention for an additional 30 days. Then in a baffling move, he flies back to Curacao and faxes in a reversal of the ruling he’d made only a few hours earlier, freeing van der Sloot from jail. Within three days Joran van der Sloot was on an airplane for Holland, and to make sure van der Sloot would never face prosecution, the judges gave Joran and the Kalpoe brothers immunity from ever being questioned again about this case.

The judge in the case issued two rulings: In the first, he agreed with prosecutors' request to extend the period of van der Sloot's pretrial detention by 30 more days.

But later Thursday, the judge issued another ruling that sided with the defense — an order to immediately suspend the execution of his earlier pretrial detention order.

BETH TWITTY
NANCY GRACE September 13, 2005

GRACE: What was the grounds? Why did they release them?

TWITTY: You know, Nancy, there was absolutely no -- no grounds for them to be released. And I spoke with the Dutch interrogators. And even as of September the 1st, things were really progressing well, and Joran and Deepak and Satish, they had -- these young men had divided, and they were not denying a crime anymore. They were merely implicating each other. And the list of inconsistencies was presented before Judge Smit. The reasonable doubt was there. I don`t have any idea why he fled the island and then faxed a reversal decision. It just is incredible.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0509/13/ng.01.html

Judge Rick Smid was well aware at the time of his ruling that in their police statements Joran and the Kalpoe brothers differed on key events that supposedly occurred that night. Joran had told five different stories about how he got home that night, none of them agreeing with the Kalpoes’ account. Joran had also said in one of his statements that Deepak murdered Natalee and buried her on the beach near the Fishermen’s Huts, a statment that Deepak vehemently denied. One of the suspects even admitted to police interrogators that "Something bad happened to Natalee." the night she disappeared.

They themselves admitted to police during interrogations that something bad happened to Natalee while she was with them, without specifying what ‘something bad’ was! That they admitted to committing sexual abuse against her. ??It is not extensive that the judge who presided over the case and decided that some things were inadmissible. He could be the best judge in the world, but in this case, he made light of and greatly neglected to pay attention to the three suspects’ admissions, since he didn’t even interrogate them about what was left hanging in the air, such as the declaration of Joran at the beach that he believes that Deepak raped and killed Natalee! How did this matter end there? How were the other accusations and counter-accusations among the three suspects not evaluated for their just content?

In essence, there were many differences in the three suspects’ stories which would indicate one or more of them were guilty of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, but Judge Smid chose to ignore these discrepancies. He also used an obscure ruling from the Ponson case that stated Joran’s eduction was of utmost importance—moreso than the murder investigation—which allowed Joran to flee the island and opened the door for the judges from Curacao to land the final blow on the case by lifting all restrictions against the main suspects.

In another move on behalf of Paulus van der Sloot and his son Joran, at the end of July, 2005 Judge Rick Smid ordered the DNA taken from the three main suspects destroyed. Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers remain the three main suspects to this day, with Joran being considered the prime suspect.

Judge Rick Smid is a pox on the Dutch judicial system and should be removed from office. The damage he and Judge Bob Wit did to the Natalee Holloway case is unfathomable, and both of these judges should be punished for their actions.

Furthermore the top judicial officials in Holland should start an investigation as to why these judges who were friends and acquaintances of Paulus van der Sloot were allowed to rule on the court proceedings for both he and his son.

THE CURACAO JUDGES ACT IN UNISON TO FREE THE VAN DER SLOOTS

Three weeks after Judge Smid released Joran under the obscure Ponson rule (which originally applied to a baseball player's right to get an education, a crime nowhere as serious as rape and murder) a panel of three judges released all restrictions on Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers. They were all free to leave the island and never had to return for questioning by the police interrogators again. These judges also knew of the conflicting stories between Joran Van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers but totally ignored them in spite of the fact they suggest guilt.

JOSSY MANSUR, EDITOR DIARIO ARUBA

Did the judge who came from Curacao probably plan take the decisions he took, spoiled the case? With all due respect for the position you have taken, have you seen what happened???The case was resolved in phases the same judge planned: first release Paul v.d. Sloot , then he came back to release the Kalpoe brothers and the third phase he executed now when came to set Joran free because Joran expressed his wish to continue his studies. ??I have similarly not made any accusations of any sort against the Kalpoe brothers; what I have repeated is what can be found in the Polis reports where they started pointing the fingers one against the other! It is in these three phases here that Americans see the corruption of our justice system.

With the ruling in Curacao, the Dutch judges had now accomplished their mission of denying justice to Natalee Holloway and her family. These biased rulings have de-railed the case the Holloway case and smack of corruption among all the Dutch juges in the Netherland Antilles.

THE DUTCH JUDICIARY SHOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST IN THE NATALEE HOLLOWAY CASE AND SENT A TEAM OF UNBIASED JUDGES TO THE NETHERLAND ANTILLES TO OVERSEE THE CASE. INSTEAD, THEY LET CORRUPTION RUN RAMPANT WHICH HAS RESULTED IN THE CRIMES AGAINST MISS HOLLOWAY TO GO UNPUNISHED.

DUTCH AUTHORITIES IN HOLLAND SHOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED THE SERIOUS CONFLICTS OF INTEREST THAT WERE TAKING PLACE IN THEIR LEGAL SYSTEM AND STEPPED UP TO PUT AN END TO THEM INSTEAD OF TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THE OBVIOUS CORRUPTION THAT WAS TAKING PLACE.

*Why did Dutch officials in Holland not recognize such an obvious conflict of interest in their renegade judges’ ruling for one of their co-workers and friends?

*Why didn’t Dutch judicial officials in Holland immediately send in a team of unbiased judges who had no working or recreational relationship with Paulus van der Sloot?

*Why did the Dutch judiciary sit back and allow a limited search of the van der Sloot residence when they knew from his statements that Joran was in the main house that night?

* Why would a Dutch judge team up with a member of the Prosecutor's office to prevent a search if he did not have inside information into the case against one of his co-workers?

*Why did the Prosecutor's office allow Ben Vocking, a high ranking member of their own staff with inside information into the case, to take work leave in order to assist the suspects in the case?

*If Paulus and Joran van der Sloot were innocent of any crime as they claim, why would a Dutch judge and a high ranking member of the Prosecutor's office be needed to intervene in a search of their residence?

*Why did Judge Rick Smid release all three of the main suspects from further questioning when he knew very well their stories didn’t match up?

When will the Dutch right the obvious wrongs that have taken place in the Natalee Holloway case and curb the damage they have done to their judiciary system in the world of public opinion?

Natalee and her family deserve justice, and we will not let up until they have it!

MORE BAD PRESS FOR SABA

A former Shreveport man who is the son of a plastic surgeon here is missing and presumed drowned off the coast of a Caribbean island.

Paul Valiulis, 42, disappeared last week in St. Maarten, authorities there said. He was a student at the medical school in Saba, St. Maarten. Valiulis did not return from a swim, authorities said. He is the son of Dr. John Valiulis, who is on the faculty at LSU medical school in Shreveport. Authorities in St. Maarten said Valiulis disappeared last Tuesday. Searchers have not found his body. Seas were rough in advance of Hurricane Noel, which moved through the Caribbean last Thursday, and hampered early search efforts.

SABA--American Vice Consul Bill Furnish will arrive on-island today to follow up on the situation pertaining to missing American/Canadian medical student Paul Valiulis (42) ...Yesterday’s sea searches to locate Valiulis, feared to have drowned off the Well’s Bay beach Tuesday afternoon, were not productive. (When ARE they EVER productive?) The Marine Park boat went from the airport to Hole in the Corner, searching the surface. No dives were undertaken. The seas were too rough to circumnavigate the island.

According to Saba Conservation Foundation Manager Jan den Dulk, searches will continue today, if requested by island authorities. (Remember that big word IF...)

DENNIS JACOBS--LEAD INVESTIGATOR OR KEY OBSTRUCTIONIST?

**Thanks for another great one from the Freebirds!

In the case of missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, the thought shared by her family and many others researching this case is that there was a collusion of the authorities on the island of Aruba to cover up this crime.

This thought was recently affirmed with the publishing of Beth Holloway’s book, in which she quoted the President of the Aruban Hotel and Tourism Association responding to a statement about a cover up having taken place:

Pesquera says to Beth stating there was a cover-up. "Yes...yes there was." (p. 194 Beth Holloway book Loving Natalee).

Over the past two and a half years, many have wondered how such a cover up could be so successful, and who were the key players in such collusion?

Dave Holloway tells us in his book about the manipulations that were done to his police statement regarding his hour-long meeting with Paulus van der Sloot.

I commented to Jacobs about how short my statement was. He said that I could add anything I wanted to it. Also, I noticed that Eric Soemers's name was on it, but that detective was not even present during the interview. Now I wondered if Jacobs was making up everyone's statement and getting Eric to sign on to them. If that were the case, he could state anything he wanted, and it would look like an official statement made in front of a witness. Dave Holloway Aruba page 183

Beth Holloway tells us about her first statement given to Dennis Jacobs about her missing daughter, and the things she saw and heard the night she arrived on the island and met with the van der Sloots. She shares with us how Dennis Jacobs changed her statement to remove anything that could be harmful to the van der Sloots.

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Correct.
I was not needed on the 31st to give my statement. I went in June 1 approximately 10:00 AM and gave my statement. It was printed in Dutch. It was translated for me in English, and I signed it. The same day on June 1 at 10:00 PM, the same detective brought me two statements, one that I had signed...

GRACE: At 10:00 PM, an investigator finds you where?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY:
In a restaurant.

GRACE:
They come up to you in a restaurant and say?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY:
I need you to sign this new statement. There was a change that had to have been made. Jug spoke with them. You know, Nancy, I was not able to make any type of decisions on what I was signing. I mean, something was presented before me. I`m looking for my daughter in a foreign country. What was I going to do?

GRACE:
Was it in Dutch?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: I
had to go on good faith. Oh, yes. Absolutely.

GRACE:
So after signing your statement once that afternoon, they seek you out at a restaurant...

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Yes.

GRACE: ...
and ask you to re-sign a statement written totally in Dutch?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY:
Yes.

GRACE:
And Jug quizzed them, saying?

GRACE:
What are the changes? The changes were only supposed to have been a date.

GRACE:
And?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: We found out about three weeks later that that statement that I signed on June 10 is not my statement. We were given that statement by an Aruban attorney sometime during the month of July and finally had it translated, and it is not my original statement.

GRACE:
What was left out, Beth?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY:
There were a lot of names that were left out, you know, just key elements as far as how Joran asked Jug and -- to leave the group before he admitted the sexual assaults that he committed against Natalee and -- and just a lot of things. You know, Paulus`s name -- I didn`t know anyone`s name. I didn`t know Charles Croes`s name, which is just ludicrous.

The steps Dennis Jacobs took to whittle down the content of Dave’s meeting with Paulus, and his addition of the not present Detective Soemer’s name to Dave’s statement, and the unbelievably bold steps he took to completely change Beth’s statement made us wonder.

What other statements did Dennis Jacobs manipulate?

What key elements could have been given by these various witnesses and suspects, that Dennis Jacobs may have tampered with?

BODY OF NEW JERSEY'S JOEL GOVE FINALLY FOUND

TRENTON — A mummified body found in the Caribbean diving destination of Saba belonged to an intrepid New Jersey environmental consultant, his ex-wife said. Amy Gonzales flew to Saba to try to see if the body found last week in an abandoned sulfur mine was Joel D. Gove's. It was, Gonzales told The Trentonian.

Gove, a 47-year-old world traveler who delighted in showing friends photos of the exotic places he visited, set out for Saba on Christmas last year. The mountainous 5-square-mile island southwest of Saint Maarten is part of the Netherlands Antilles and is popular with divers. It has only about 1,500 residents and receives about 25,000 tourists a year.

On Dec. 27, Gove set out for a hike near the abandoned mine. He was never seen alive again. By mid-January, authorities in the island had halted their search for him after failing to find the Trenton man.

Gonzales said last week three hikers got lost in the same mine where Gove was last seen. Their flashlights were dying, and they were breathing in sulfur fumes, she said. The only light they had came only from a little key chain flashlight. The men stumbled through the darkness for a half-hour and stumbled across Gove's body.

"They're just lucky they didn't meet the same fate that Joel did,'' Gonzales said. "They had to get out.'' They told authorities of finding Gove's body, and it was recovered. Gonzales, who remained friends with her ex-husband after their divorce, and one of his co-workers, flew to the island last weekend after it was reported that Gove's body may have been found.

"It was pretty much as they said; it was pretty much mummified,'' she said. "You could recognize his clothes. And his hair was still there.''

What kind of conditions can a dead body be in
for it to become mummified instead of completely decomposed???
