BRING ON THE MESSENGER--JOHN Q. KELLY
Kelly's Accomplishments while in Aruba:
On the second day Kelly spent 90 minutes alone with Janssen. Kelly believes that they are focused on the search and recovery efforts. The majority believes that if they can locate a body it may yield forensic evidence. (What about the brown belt that was thrown away, claiming it was "too old" for evidence?) It also fills in the blanks with witness accounts and suspect statements.
Kelly believes and is so far satisfied both with the police, in terms of the investigation, and with Aruban investigative team. He stated that “they are committed to making an arrest. They want to solve this.” (I won't hold my breath right now.) He also stated that when an arrest is made, Janssen has to committed to a prosecution. “She wants to see people charged and she would love to see a conviction in this case, too. And I think they're putting in the effort right now.” (Believe me, the rest of us would LOVE to see a conviction too!)
Why Keep Searching the Dunes?
The Dunes are a massive place. They are approximately the size of eight football fields or more. Officials have what they term as credible, reliable, and fresh information in terms of a possible location there. Kelly stated, “There was some indication from the infrared test, the F-16s flying over there, that there was a heat source located in there, too, which could indicate remains located in the sand dunes.”
He continued, “my understanding is they're going to be back down there with Aruban authorities, FBI and the Dutch Forensic Institute, a joint effort to just comb the entire area once and for all with cadaver dogs and the latest technology they have available to them.” Kelly stated that he would go along with this approach for awhile but his main reliance is on credible eyewitnesses.
PVDS Court Case
Look forward to a decision February 27. Karin Janssen submitted to the court an application for Kelly’s attendance. Van der Sloot opposed the application. Kelly stated, “He thought I'd been rather unkind to him in the public eye with my comments. I agree with him. I have been. I'm not a big fan of his, but we'll find out February 27 if he hits the motherlode or not.”

BE PREPARED! Word is around the prosecutors office is that Paul will be successful. My son is a law clerk in the prosecutor's office. The Aruan system doesn't give out huge awards like the American courts do, but it'll definitely be a symbolic/financial win that wil devastate the Holloway/Twitty families. Caren has already statred preparing the staff and writing press releases for this all but certain eventuality. It'll be a HUGE victory for the Van der Sloots and we'll never hear the end of it.
If so, it won't be a HUGE victory for the vds family. It will be a HOLLOW victory.
The whole world watches as PVDS proves he has Aruba by the short hairs. Can you spell b-l-a-c-k-m-a-i-l?? That's his victory?
His family is involved with Natalee's disappearance up to their eyeballs. All this does is support the theory of corruption.
It would be laughable if it weren't so uncredibly tragic.

And when all is said and done and the truth comes out and it will, Paul may not open his mouth But rest assure one of the stupid boys will get drunk and slip, may not today, tomorrow or next week, Maybe not even next year.. But trust me they will.. Pauls world will crumble, his career, his life and his family.
Beth isn't going to be devastated that Paulus vandersloot gets some money. They said before it wouldn't be much.. Beth was devastated the night her daughter went missing and still is..don't give him that much importance in her life..
You know...if the F-16s pinpointed a spot on the beach that might hold a body, why not go to that exact spot and look instead of combing the whole beach like it is some big ordeal? I mean, those F-16s can drop a smart bomb down a ventilation shaft and shoot down a plane that isn't even in eyeshot for crying out loud! I'm sure their sensors have accuracy within a few meters...
Sounds like ALE has managed to obscure yet more evidence- tamping all over the area instead of going right to the location. ALE is either the most corrupt police department in the world or the most incompetent.
Awarding PVDS money just demonstrates how absurd the entire Dutch legal system is.
I doubt that it will faze Beth or Dave one bit. They're well acquainted with the lunacy of their system, and I use the word "system" very, very loosely.
They will award him 1 USD as a gesture which is insignificant
Why would they indicate the F16s found a warm spot in the Dunes eight months ago and they are deciding to investigate it now. This continues to stink big time......
Aruba - solve this case, let those who assisted the cover-up fall where they fall. You will never regain your reputation as the Happy Island if you don't step up and blow the lid off of this cover-up.
