MORE "DEALS" TO LURE TOURISTS TO THE NETHERLAND ANTILLES

BONAIRE--A NEW WAY TO LURE TOURISTS...YES, THEY ARE A PART OF THE NETHERLAND ANTILLES! DON'T BE FOOLED!

(Source)--With a name like Flamingo Airport, you know the place has got to be special. The place is Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles (BON), and Continental Airlines will launch nonstop flights to the lovely Caribbean nature preserve in the dead of winter.

December 16 is the nicely timed start date for nonstop service from Continental’s megahub at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to the Dutch enclave, noted for its pioneering role in the preservation of a diverse marine environment. That environment is inviting, especially to scuba divers. The windsurfing is terrific too.

This new flight is a Saturday/Sunday sojourn. A long-range 737-700 departs Newark at 11:55pm on Saturday, and arrives in Bonaire at 5:40am on Sunday morning, in time for a fresh breakfast, a nap and a day at the beach. The return flight departs Bonaire at 7am on Sunday, and pulls up to the gate at Newark at 10:45am in time to connect to your flight home, or collect yourself for the Monday workday that awaits.

The world’s fifth-largest airline, Continental now serves 77 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Overall, Continental, Continental Express, and Continental Connection loft 3,200 daily departures to 154 domestic and 138 international destinations. Customer service? J.D. Power and Associates ranks Continental tops in customer satisfaction among traditional network carriers in North America
