MORE BAD PRESS FOR SABA

A former Shreveport man who is the son of a plastic surgeon here is missing and presumed drowned off the coast of a Caribbean island.

Paul Valiulis, 42, disappeared last week in St. Maarten, authorities there said. He was a student at the medical school in Saba, St. Maarten. Valiulis did not return from a swim, authorities said. He is the son of Dr. John Valiulis, who is on the faculty at LSU medical school in Shreveport. Authorities in St. Maarten said Valiulis disappeared last Tuesday. Searchers have not found his body. Seas were rough in advance of Hurricane Noel, which moved through the Caribbean last Thursday, and hampered early search efforts.

SABA--American Vice Consul Bill Furnish will arrive on-island today to follow up on the situation pertaining to missing American/Canadian medical student Paul Valiulis (42) ...Yesterday’s sea searches to locate Valiulis, feared to have drowned off the Well’s Bay beach Tuesday afternoon, were not productive. (When ARE they EVER productive?) The Marine Park boat went from the airport to Hole in the Corner, searching the surface. No dives were undertaken. The seas were too rough to circumnavigate the island.

According to Saba Conservation Foundation Manager Jan den Dulk, searches will continue today, if requested by island authorities. (Remember that big word IF...)

For December 5th, a lot of people are speaking well of Aruba lately including the oppositions. It has been just decided by the Dutch with the help of the foreign relations department, the J2K will be relieved of the burden of suspects list by the Aruba Superior Court. The Natalee case will be dismissed for closure.

Our president is undoing and rebuilding our LE department based on the Dutch Law Model which is adopted by the UN. Dutch Law Model is more scientific than the Orthodox.
