I posted this several days ago, but I wanted to post it again to remind everyone to look out for information on Koen Gottenbos. Very reliable sources closely involved with the investigation believe he took part in this crime.
Is Koen the missing piece to this puzzle???
Meet Koen Gottenbos. He is Joran's best friend. It just so happens that Koen's father owns a boat! Hmmm... Why hasn't he ever been questioned? I know that his name has come up before, but he seems to have stayed under the radar.
Is it true that Koen was the third person (Not Satish) who helped dispose of Natalee's body?
Koen, where were you the night AFTER Natalee disappeared? This is the same night when Natalee's mom came to Joran's house looking for him. Paulus told Beth Joran wasn't home...he was 'supposedly' at the casino. But Joran was not at the casino like he says...he was with YOU, wasn't he? You were in your daddy's boat with Joran and Deepak taking Natalee to her watery grave...

He was questioned right away but he has an airtight alibi. He was in south Florida visiting friends the when this happened. It was verified by pictures, talking to friends, his plane ticket and the fact that he was at a birthday party here with 78 witnesses! Dead end, AGAIN!!
Hogwash about this creep having an Alibi. Not proven and not on record anywhere. I woudl nto be suprized at all if this was one of the many missing pieces !
Where is the actual PROOF that clears Koen, then? I haven't seen it anywhere, and I'm not relying on your lame explanation for his so-called alibi. Give some proof...send me a link, send me a video, something... And you are so particular, "78 witnesses!"
Until then, I agree that Koen should definitely be questioned.
No one said SUSPECT. Did you notice that? Get your panties out of that bunch in your butt.
At this point, all we know is that the Aruban courts and law enforcement are worthless and cannot be relied on for anything. And I mean just that: I do not believe one word that we have heard from Aruba. All that they have done since the case began is to yell, scream, denounce, cry, wail ... but they have not been of material assistance in the investigation (the American volunteers have been doing the job of the Aruban police) and they can't even find a spokesman who is capable.
Lies, evasions, and distortions ... Aruba's contribution to the case.
I will believe what the FBI can come up with. I will not believe any "evidence" provided by Aruba. Their incompetence is too glaring by now.
And if they think this case is going away ... I'd like to rub their noses in their statements.
Aruba government actively seeks total independence from Holland with the help of United States. They want to arrest Koen and van der Sloots for the murder of Natalee. May be next week Aruba will declare the UN membership with the backing of Bush Administration.
heard that koens dad sold boat and house is for sale. dont know if its true just read it at SM.
also read today that someone unnamed had their alibi broken recently.
I know for a fact that there is a REAL witness (not the gardner, jogger, etc.) who actually SAW the three take off in Koen's boat during those couple hours before Mrs. Twitty arrived at the Van der Sloot home.
This witness can't come forward. He is too afraid for himself and his family. I don't even know if JVDS and Daddy even know about this witness. Remember, there's no such thing as a perfect crime.
However, if this witness talks, this case will break right open.
It all depends on whether or not someone (i.e. Joran, Deepak, Koen, Satish) want to come clean and save their country from utter demise.
Alas, we all know that Joran doesn't care about anyone but himself, so he will move on. He'll go back to Holland and act like royalty and keep repeating his lame saying, "I just want to get on with my life". What a selfish bastard.
This fast boat can carry five people and drag a huge crab trap on its side in open sea. A perfect scheme for the perfect crime. Someone must had done it several times and had good experience at sinking the bodies in the deep ocean. Some local missing girls were never reported to the crime statistics tourist association publications. Aruba claims to be a crime free nation until now. ALE think the missing girls and crap traps were totally unrelated. You won't be shocked when Tim Miller can dig up more crap traps with human remains in them from the ocean floor.
Isn't a sacrificial lamb just that... a sacrifice? If he is a part of the puzzle, which I do not think he is, who has sacrificed him? If he was involved, looks like he has been protected to me. I believe Joran and Koen and the brothers are completely innocent. If something did in fact happen, it was probably an accident from something else that may've been wrong... but Joran is no rapist and no murderer.

I didn't witness it myself, but a very, very, very reliable source said that it was Michael Dompig. Dompig's son.

But that doesn't give you the right to judge our whole country and it's people.. how many people have gone missing in aruba? how many people have gone missing in the states? you can go look at the statistics and THEN form an opinion..
Why wasn't Beth Twitty and her ex-husband and Natalee's father investigated? That's another important detail that they didn't pay attention to.
This girl ran away from home before, so it's possible that she did it again and set this whole thing up!

Koen goes to my college...Young Harris College in Ga, he is on the tennis team .
