DE-STRESS IN ARUBA!

“People come here to feel free and de-stress,” says Edison Briesen, Minister of Tourism and Transportation. “Our airport is state-of-the-art, up to international standards and beyond, and we focus very strongly on the safety aspect for our passengers.

“You can wander around the island and mingle with everyone without looking over your shoulder. People can feel they are in their second home.” (possibly a crack home)

Add a completely individual culture—a mix of Caribbean, American and European—
and value for money, and Aruba can pride itself on offering its visitors something quite unique. (Here's unique for you: go on a school trip with friends, getting drugged raped and possibly murdered. What a unique vacation! cough..cough..)

“We have to maintain our uniqueness in the region because tourism will carry Aruba into the future,” adds Mr. Briesen. ”We have a lot of international hotel chains and we are aiming to attract a lot more luxury facilities to the island.”

“We are proud of welcoming our visitors and giving good service,” says Myrna Janssen-Feliciano, Acting General Manager of the Aruba Tourism Authority. “A lot of people who come here want to come back. (maybe not anymore!) We are one of the safest islands in the Caribbean (I'll repeat myself...not anymore!) and our culture is unique. With our Dutch heritage and American influences, we are altogether different from other islands.”

Tourism accounts for 70 percent of Aruba’s gross domestic product and—either directly or indirectly—employs 80 percent of the labor force. The government is focusing on sustainable development of the industry in cooperation with the private sector.

Wrong again. This is not an island full of crack houses. All my trips there have been damn near perfect.
There is no proof that Natalee was drugged and raped. Not to mention the "murder". But really - there is no proof of drugging and rape.
Even if you believe the Skeeter tapes (which I don't think anyone does, do they?), Deepak says that no one slipped anything in her drink.
Unless you think alchohol is a drug.

Actually, if you didn't know ALCOHOL IS A DRUG.

Michelle,
Than stop posting that Natalee was drugged. Instead say she was fed alchohol.
There is a big difference there.

There is no proof that she is dead . She could still be alive you know.

Sorry Sticky--can't do that. I know how easily available these drugs are and that men all over the world are using them. A good friend of mine was drugged on New Year's Eve by a male "friend".

Also, don't forget about those scared young female victims that claimed they were drugged by Joran as well. Their lives and families were threatened and they backed off.

Therefore, I choose to believe she was drugged. My opinion...my blog.

Refresh my memory. What was the name of the perscription drug that was on Natalee's night stand by her bed? Does any one know?

Michelle, your friend that was drugged on NYEve. How did she come to the understanding that it was drugs? Self examaination? Lab results? What? Was she taken to the hospital? You can't just leave it at that.

Didn't think you knew the answers.

No anonymous, I don't have the answers because I am NOT her. She knows this was done to her because she found out through friends that this guy had the date rape drug with him...besides the guy is a drug deaker and always has some sort of drug on him.

And I'll leave it at that.

Michelle, Thats right you are not her. So just because someone said "you were drugged" she believes it? Where's the proof?
hasn't your friend learned anything from you and this missing girl's case?
Don't leave your drink unattended......

Didn't think you would have the right answer. Just like the response you gave the previous anonymous, I don't know....... otherwise you would have posted the answer.
Still up to a fair debate.

She didn't leave her drink unattended. It was GIVEN TO HER by her so-called male FRIEND.

This event with my friend isn't even the issue. It was only an analogy. Move on...

Goodbye!
