A MOCK TRIAL ON ARUBA?

On Rita Cosby, last night, the lawyer for the Kalpoe Brothers announced in an interview that he believes that the Aruban Prosecutor will charge and try the three suspects. He claims that the charges will be for murder...in some form or other. Anything from manslaughter up to first degree.
This would be a case based on circumstantial evidence which by itself is not unusual, but in this case...highly unusual. Unusual because they didn't have enough evidence to even hold the suspects based on what they have so how could that evidence produce any type of a conviction?
It has been speculated (and rightfully so), that what Aruba will do is conduct a MOCK trial. In other words, charge the suspects, try the suspects, acquit the suspects and then announce that they have fulfilled their duties and done all that they can to solve the case.
After all, it won't be their fault if the panel of Judges seated to hear the cases don't find them guilty. There is no jury system in Dutch law, no plea bargaining and the entire matter is heard and decided by Judges. We pretty much know how the Judges have ruled so far where the suspects are concerned.
Even the most jaded defense attorneys interviewed felt that this would be a travesty of justice and a terrible disservice to the Holloway/Twitty families and to the suspects as well.
Do they really think that we would buy this ruse? Do they think that we will pat them on the head and congratulate them for doing their sworn duty when we will KNOW that they have conducted a MOCK trial?
Thus far, the Aruban authorities have not been able to detain the three suspects let alone charge them with any crime so why now?
Supposedly, these charges and trials will take place sometime in either June or July......the searches will have been completed and the so-called credible witnesses will have been interviewed. The Aruban's will then have all that they need to PROVE a murder case.
I am not buying this for one minute.
When Joran went on American television and lied through his teeth...AGAIN, the police did not take him in to re-question him. When he pointed the finger of guilt straight at the Kalpoe Brothers the Aruban's did not re-question the Brothers? What if the searches produce no evidence?
I have heard over and over again that they can't prove that a crime happened let alone charge anyone with one. What has changed to suddenly allow the Prosecutor to charge and bring to trial these suspects or anyone else for that matter?
I will say this; either they have brilliantly concealed evidence or they are attempting to clear the books of this pesky thorn in their side....they will have done their duty and then tourism and boycotts will fade away and things will go back to normal on Aruba.
I am NOT buying this and neither are the many lawyers (both defense and prosecution) that have been interviewed.
If they believe that a MOCK trial will solve their problems then they are sadly mistaken. It will only inflame the public and they can kiss their tourist dollars goodbye.
I can't wait to hear Dompig's preemptive strike on 48 Hours this weekend, because I now believe that it is his purpose to prepare the public for this big event that is to take place in the coming months....
Don't misjudge the American people Aruba...we are not stupid and we can see through your plan. You had better have some REAL and CREDIBLE evidence before you attempt to convince us that you have done your job.
Thus far, you have failed miserably and we are all aware of it.
We will be watching.

The prosecutor cannot use the same evidence they used to hold Juron and the Kalpoe brothers in jail previously.
They need new evidence to arrest them, and for sure to bring charges of murder, kidnapping, rape, etc.
I agree with Wendy Murphy and Mickey Sherman, that this is some kind of ruse.

The new evidences are the Aruba boycott and its death, what more else evidences do you need? These new forensic evidences are facts that the ALE cannot destroy and coverup. They are coming strong and sweeping over Aruba in every
hour of each day passing by. The ATA won't admit its tourists business are down by 60% at this moment as compared to the same period of last year. People are just not booking any vacation trips to Aruba anymore due to the horrific bad images projected by the blogs and MSM. A 18 year old man Joran said he always had sexual relations with young American tourist girls who asked him out and provided him with condoms for free sex. All he had to do was to buy them the 151 drugged alcohol to get them intoxicated for consensual sex. Joran took Natalee to his house from C&Ch for sex himself, then he took Natalee to the beach to sell her body sex to Deepak and Satish and many other people for money. Deepak got mad when he found out he was having sex with a corpse. He was lied to and cheated by Joran. Joran looked so gloating and ridiculous when he said he never had sex with Natalee at the beach because he had no condoms.
The fact was he sold his condoms to Deepak and he knew Natalee was dead. How can Joe Tacopina explain the solid confessions that Joran had done and raped 20 more American girls without being discovered by the ALE? This is a
serious failure by the Aruban police. Joe Tacopina was sort of thinking Joran was so smart and funny on his defense, and he believes Joran's truth and his innocence. The truth is that the American people won't buy that shit at all, and we are all very well aware of every shit bits going on in Aruba. Rik Smid can do whatever hell with Joran and
his release. We American people will just take this Joran dude into our own hands, and the judgements will be done to him much quicker than the quicksand. Yes, we have our American courts and jury systems and our law enforcements and bounty hunters resources. We will punish Joran by all means for all his crimes he committed against Natalee.
Seriously, the citizens of Aruba should be horrified with their justice and legal systems.
Who would ever know when the same tactics could be used against them or a member of their family.
Just like it was the intent to have the two security guards spend the rest of their lives in prison for nothing other than to protect the island's tourism reputation.
Now..a "mock" trial to protect the island's tourism reputation.
Something is seriously wrong in Aruba.
The citizens there should be demanding an overhaul of their judicial system!
