The damage it has caused to Aruba has been more that enough already, "I want to be done with it". (So do we, Oduber! So get on it and solve it! Find her body and prosecute the RIGHT people.) For more than ten months, the Holloway-case has been hanging over the tropical island as a dark cloud. (A dark cloud created by your island's officials! I don't feel sorry for people who bring pain and unnecessary suffering to themselves.) Whatever happened that may 30th, is still unclear. It has been seven months since the suspects were released. An extensive search of the dunes brought no results. (Duh! We all knew that was a lie and yet ANOTHER smoke screen!) The investigative team already has it´s third new boss. (Tells you something, doesn't it?) Oduber: "If the case isn´t solved soon, we will have to close the active investigation and classify it as unsolved. (I really don't think so Oduber. If that happens, your island will GO AWAY. You have no idea how powerful we Americans are in groups...an angry group. Imagine riots, imagine retribution...we take care of our OWN American daughters.) I say this with pain in my heart for the Holloway-family, but this is turning into a soap-story. Aruba has done all it can do to solve this case. (Really? Prove it, Oduber, you ALL KNOWING one. Tell us. I'd be very interested to know what they have really done to solve this? Are you that scared of Paulus to keep this all under wraps? Do you think we are that ignorant?) We even gave the entire civil service the day off to look for the girl. ("That girl"...and an ENTIRE day...wow...how gracious of you, you narcissist pig.) That alone and the overtime has cost the government 1.4 million euro´s." (Big freakin' deal...this is going to cost your island A LOT more in the end. And believe me, there won't be ANY END anytime soon.) Oduber has lost all hope that this case will be solved. "There is no indication of what exactly happened that night. All we know is that the boys have told too many wild stories. I don´t want to accuse anybody, but if someone comes up with a different story time after time, in my opinion that means he knows more about what then he is telling." The excessive negative media-attention by the US media has cost Aruba it´s image as the safest island in the carribean. "Day after day Aruba was portrayed as a corrupt country on the US television, " sighs Oduber. (Oh, he sighs...poor thing.) "Larry King called me to explain things on air. I have been contacted by Condoleeza Rica and the FBI. Rice asked us if we could do our very best. I have a lot of respect for her. (Do you? Do you have respect for women? Or only women in power? Power that can destroy you?) But in the USA there are thousands of Natalee´s. And in other carribean nations people get murdered gruesomely. But the US media doesn´t report those cases." (Yes, they do...but no one is as vigilant as Beth Twitty. You met your match, people.) Legal expert Arlene Ellis-Schippers doesn´t think the investigation will be closed soon. "Normally, two years is a reasonable time for an active investigation to run." She doesn´t think any prosecution on the short term is likely.
