MMMM, Some very interesting points combined with some pretty lousy (mathematical) points.
But, food for thought.

My heart bleeds for Aruba. Here they coverup the murder of an American citizen. And now Americans won't go to there country.

Does Aruba ever tell the truth about anything?

As per Americans not going to Aruba: Let's assume that indeed you have an average of 10% less tourists flyinginn (Cruise ships don't count because they don't spend the night). Knowing that Aruba had about 650,000 stay-over guests last year. Also keep in mind that out of those 650,000 about 450,000 were US citizens.
Now let's assume that the full 10% are all Americans, that would mean 65,000 less americans not going to Aruba. That would still leave (450,000 - 65,000=) 385,000 US citizens going to Aruba. Even with the numbers posted for this year, January and February showed drop-off of 13%+ and 16%+ respectively, but in the meantime that has gone down to less than 4%. So apparently some US citizens are starting to find Aruba again.
Furthermore, and that was my point as per somme lousy mathematical points: Aruba did post record numbers last year till May '05. And it took till August for Aruba to see some drop-off. The 0.6% is not a correction, but the AVERAGE of the whole year.
Anyways, it is down at this moment, but the questions that now arise are:
1) How to keep up that momentum (of the boycott)?
2) What, if any, influence has the boycott had on the investigation?

Ponder, pon der, ponder, slowly but surely some things get clearer, but a lot of questions remain!

If you drop prices by 75-80 percent. Your gonna get some people going. Dropping prices like that is called desperation on Aruba's part. Why do we have to read comments from a Troll???

Who dropped prices? Show me! In fact, one of my aruban contacts just sent me an article from one of the Aruban newspapers, where there seems to be a dispute between the government and the AHATA about the fact that the resorts have, again, raised the prices of their roomms. So as per your so called 'desperation tactics', please come with facts, if not, please sit quit in the back of the class room.
And as per being a troll, sorry, you haven't seen your mother lately, apperently. (Michelle, If you want to edit out the last sentence, be my guest)
