BLATANT PROPAGANDA AT ITS WORST

Aruba Increases Tourist Investments

(With what money???)

(Source)--The Aruba tourist authorities announced Monday they will invest millions this year to improving their hotel and extra-hotel infrastructure to take a better position in the market. The digital Caribbean News opined this is a happy perspective and that Tourism and Transport Minister Edison Briesen was satisfied by these precautions and the strategy begun in 2006.

In Oranjestad, the capital, a huge condominium and commercial center will be built with a 100 million dollar investment. As for the hotel sector, in December the Westin chain assumed renewing the Hotel Wyndham for 25 million dollars.

It is true Aruba can borrow the money but they are already in trouble from some existing loans. If this continues much longer the island will be turned back to desert.

Aruba, we have a saying in America:

You can put makeup on a pig, but it's still a pig.

You would be wise to acknowledge that no matter how much money you put into beautification, it will all be for naught until you give Natalee's family the answers they deserve.
