ARUBA TRUTH--REALLY HELPING, OR A HOAX?

Investigation Continues in Earnest

Beth Twitty heard directly from Aruba Special Adviser, Steve Cohen, that the investigation is continuing with renewed vigor. Speaking on MSNBC’s Rita Cosby show, Cohen reviewed some key facts:

1. The three “persons of interest” could be questioned in the coming weeks, because investigators may have developed new concerns after reviewing evidence.

2. A new prosecutor has been assigned to review the case, from Curacao. His purpose is to review the entire case as a back up to the efforts of Karen Janssen.

3. A letter received by Paulus van der Sloot was most likely a hoax, but was sent to the forensic lab in Holland. It shows that the investigators will act on any lead.

Reacting from a fund raiser for another missing person in Georgia, Beth Twitty said she was a bit overwhelmed by all the activity, but thought any action was better than none.

So Aruba's new media whore comes out and makes all these promising statements.

THEN Aruba yanks the carpet out from under him and says the whole investigation is stalled "for now," while the petty bureaucrats pimp for power.

I wonder how long Cohen will play along with them. Not too long, I'd hope.
