VAN DER SLOOT--ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Joran, a son any mother could love

Feb. 7, 2006 Since Natalee Holloway's disappearance in May, the van der Sloots have reluctantly become Aruba's most famous family.

Joran van der Sloot, 18, admitted meeting Holloway in a bar on May 30 and going with her to the beach, along with two friends, Satish Kalpoe, 18, and Deepak Kalpoe, 21. The Alabama teenager hasn't been seen since.

The three young men were considered suspects from the beginning, and though they were held by police for questioning, they were never charged with a crime. For the last eight months, Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, has mounted a one-woman campaign against the Kalpoes and, particularly, van der Sloot and his family.

The van der Sloots are now speaking out, saying their son has been unfairly singled out. "They point fingers at him from the beginning. (No they didn’t…fingers were pointed at the security guards) They called this a murder case from the beginning. (No, they called it a kidnapping, then missing person, now they don't know what to call it!) They only had that tunnel vision," Anita van der Sloot, Joran's mother, told "Good Morning America."

The van der Sloots say they understand Twitty's relentless search for her daughter.

"That, that she's not giving up, for her girl, that we understood, but that she is calling our son a rapist, that — that's awful," said Joran's father, Paul van der Sloot. (He admitted having sex with her while she was ‘going in and out of consciousness'. Ummm...he's the lawyer, he should know that is considered RAPE!)

Hate Mail

While the van der Sloots have said in the past that Twitty is "always welcome" in Aruba, they are feeling less charitable toward her, saying she has gone too far and seriously hurt their family. (BOO HOO…your family has permanently hurt and changed Beth and her family for the rest of their lives. Joran is still alive…Joran is still with you. What are you complaining about?)

"I think that when she wants to talk, we will talk. But, of course, she has to explain something. I think she has done a lot of damage to Joran and our family," Paul van der Sloot said. (What’s to explain? That your government is corrupt and that Paul is instrumental in this cover up? I’d say that Dr. Daddy Sloot has the explaining to do.)

The van der Sloots say they — and their son — have received bags of mail and e-mail, most of it supportive. But not everyone is a fan. (You’ve got that right!)

"They threaten to murder him, to kidnap his brothers and torture them," Anita van der Sloot said. "And it's, it's disgusting. I can hardly read them."

The case continues to captivate the public and the media — cable-news hosts such as Fox's Greta van Susteren have taken up Twitty's cause, calling Joran a liar and sometimes worse. (He is a noted liar! How can ANYONE deny that? 10+ lies and scenarios, even stooping as low to rat out his “friend” Deepak claiming HE raped, killed, and buried Natalee in the sand.)

"It hurts. It really hurts. Why are people doing this? Is this only about ratings, and this is not about truth at all?" (No, Anita…it’s not about the truth, because of you and your family have HINDERED the truth since May 29, 2005. Why was Joran not interrogated when he was home for the holidays? If he wants the truth to be known, and he has nothing to hide, then why dodge the authorities and slip out of the country?)

Anita van der Sloot asked. "How many people are missing all over the world, in the States? And if this attention that this case gets from the media — I think every parent of a missing child should deserve the same attention." (Ok Anita…first of all, this isn’t about every missing person in the U.S. or the world. It is about Aruba claiming they are the safest vacation spot in the Carribean and its 'supposed' low crime rate. It's about parents trusting that their children can visit Aruba safely. This crime occurred on foreign soil. Therefore, it is an important topic that deserves attention due to the fact that Aruba does not investigate crimes, and have not cooperated with the FBI, who in fact, offered their help. Anita, this is about corruption and cover up. You are the one with 'tunnel vision'. Look between the lines, you puppet!)

The van der Sloots say they want to move on. (I bet they do! Try going into hiding with your son.) "But enough has been enough," she said. "We are parents of a young boy who needs to continue his life." (What is Beth supposed to do? How can Beth or Natalee or their family continue with their lives? May 29, 2005 marks a day where things forever changed for the Holloway/Twitty family. You are all selfish bastards complaining about how poor Joran needs to get on with his life!)

So Good Morning America says that Beth Twitty is on a one-woman mission.

How wrong they are. How dreadfully, inexcusably wrong.

What a vicious statement ... that she and only she is dedicated to finding out the truth about Natalee.

The hearts of America are with her, and our longing for justice is a passion that knows no bounds. Imperfect we are, imperfect we always will be ... but our ideals are tempered in our steadfast determination, and they know no limits.

Van der Sloot, in the argot favored by some of our citizens, "You ain't seen nuttin' yet." And when we turn over the last rocks and expose the scum and refuse huddling there to the clean, bright air ... when all the crawling, creeping things wriggle and writhe and try to flee the light ... you will be there. You and the other insects.

You. And your son. And the Kalpoes. And very possibly others.

But Natalee will not be there. She never was in your dark, dank habitat in spirit. And you are utterly incapable of escaping it.

You can run. And you can hide. And you can grovel.

But you will be found out.

Did you notice neither PVDS OR Anita say the name NATALEE? It is always "the girl". Bloodsucking bastards. May they rot in HELL.

Why don't they do a live interview with Greta or oreilly or better yet Michelle...lol..Trying to do damage control on GMA won't work...Natalee's life was altered forever..her family lives in agony everyday...their only hope is to recover her remains and bring her home for a proper burial...Their child has disappeared off this planet its like she never existed..Now you say enough is enough...When this case is resolved and all guilty have been punished...thats when it will stop..Paulus and Anita have you looked at your dear sweet sons blog lately...he seems quite the same...partying,getting drunk, with very young girls and just having a great time...We won't stop...we can't stop until he is stopped and brought to justice!

If Joran dropped the girl off at the Holiday Inn, as he states, then is he worthy of the commentary? No. And there is no proof that Paulus has ANYTHING to do with Natalee going missing. Lay off him.
Guilt by association is a dangerous thing. You should all know better!

Lake erie,
You do not know all the facts. No "blogger" here does. So get off you high horse.
Not everyone in America thinks that Beth Twitty is doing things the right way.
Paulus has a right to speak.

People feel so good when the rumor mills say Joran got HIV and is dying. This is probably the closure for Natalee. Joran brought this clamity upon himself by his own suicidal acts. Natalee will never be found. May be the dead of Joran will bring comfort and peace to a lot of people in Aruba. As soon as his dead annoucement is made by the ABC media, the boycott will stop and Aruba will survive. Let us hope this is true.

You people are just about out of your minds when you start foolishness like 'joran is dying of aids'

Maybe some aliens will come and take him away and the island will rejoice.

Or maybe the boogeyman will come visit you in a homecoming of your own evil wishes.

Enough is enough? Not hardly, not yet. Dude, we're just getting warmed up here. When you're eating out of a garbage can behind the emptied whorehouses of Aruba, we'll talk.......er......you'll talk.

One of the anonymous posters said, in essence, that if Joran dies, it will save Aruba.

I have no problem with Joran dying or even some disgruntled Aruban offing him, but it won't save Aruba. You see, the anger is not just at what was done to Natalee. What happened AFTER her disappearance is equally evil because it can and would be repeated. It is the modus operandi of the island rulers that brought this on, and that doesn't dissolve with Joran's death. No American is safe there as long as the rulers and their sons are rewarded with freedom for thier deadly crimes by the island's corrupted government officials.

It is often said that executing a condemned murderer won't bring back the dead victim. This is similar. Executing Joran will not bring back the tourists.

Stick a fork in Aruba. They're done. Make it a pitchfork.

Another anonymous poster said, "Lake erie,

And we have a right to turn our backs on him and dolts like you who have no critical thinking skills and who are probably educated in the 'moral equivalency' indoctrination camps known as the public school system.

Get a clue. The only reason the Sloots went on American TV is because they're trying to ease the boycott. Obviously they're getting a lot of pressure from the business interests on the island. They didn't appear out of some noble need to clear their names. Their friends in the judiciary already took care of that for them. They're not altruistically avenging their reputation. They want our money. They don't respect us enough to care whether we respect them or not. It's all about the money, nothing more.

Glock, your smart mouth and bulying threats toward Aruba suggest to me that you are a very small man, most likely with a very poor paying job and low self-esteem. I doubt you actually have much of this 'money' that you feel Aruba so badly covets. I'd more likely surmise that you've never been South (unless of course you go up the mountain to visit your cousin/girlfriend).

You seem very proud that your parents gave you a private education if that's what I'm reading... Still living with them, by any chance??

Glock, you pretentious arse, you should look up the meaning of the world altruism, because it makes absolutely no sense in your useage.
If you didn't go to a regular public school you must have gone to one for simpletons.

Yo, Viagara Hay-soos,

Yep, went to private school; yep, been to Aruba twice, won't go back; nope, not a small man, medium-sized woman; nope, don't have a low-paying job, no job at all 'cuz I don't need one, hubby's got a good one (univ. prof) and we both inherited.

Go back to your pill-popping and hope for a strong breeze. You're no profiler, LOL!!!!!!!!

Teach, get thee to a dictionary! Altruistic means doing something unselfishly for the benefit of others. The point is, and I'll say this carefully and s-l-o-w-l-y for you, the Sloots went on GMA in response to pressure from the tourism industry, not to clear their name or avenge the scars on their reputation for the general benefit of the island out of the goodness of their hearts (because there isn't any, for one thing). Get it? Is that s-i-m-p-l-e enough for you, you simple-minded ass?

Here's what YOU said, "Glock, you pretentious arse, you should look up the meaning of the world altruism, because it makes absolutely no sense in your useage.
If you didn't go to a regular public school you must have gone to one for simpletons."

Gee, maybe you meant "word", not "world". Check your own work before you attempt, wrongly in this case, to correct someone else's.

Anonymous said...

Glock, there's a difference between typographical errors and word misusage. Altruism requires there be no benefit to the doer of the deed. It's obvious that the situation does not fit. As you and your university professor husband undoubtedly know, psychologists have debated for decades if true altruism can ever exist. Certainly a smart girl like you would know that you can't 'altruistically' avenge a reputation.

Anonymous said...

Teach, it doesn't matter what the content of the act is. If it, whatever "it" is, is done purely for the benefit of others, it is altruistic.

I am aware of the debate and I don't care what psychologists say. I believe altrruistic acts do exist. Some psychologists feel a need to deny that there can be absolute goodness in man. I disagree.

But the Sloots act in their own interests and don't give a damn about the islanders, especially the native islanders.

Glock,
Stop the act. You are a teenage kid, not a woman married to a university educator. Unless he married WAY below himself.
And OBVIOUSLY Paulus did not go on tv to help ease the Boycott. He could care less about the boycott, because it really is not working. If you took a trip there in the last month, you would see that everywhere you walk. It is still as busy as last time I had been there two years prior. He went because his family has to listen to nutjobs saying that not only is his son guilty (and may well be), but that his whole family is involved directly (no proof at all to support these theories).
