I am usually unafraid to name names and I seldom flinch when it comes to expressing my personal opinions but in this particular article I am going to be a little vague. That is necessary because I have many confidences to keep and I try to keep my word whenever I give it.

There are corrupt people running the investigation into Natalee's disappearance and we pretty much know who they are. They have exposed themselves and there is no need for me to list each and every one of them.

What has not been widely exposed is the fact that there are people who claim to be trying to help with finding answers as to what happened to Natalee Holloway who have their own agendas and who have not been honest or above board with the rest of us. They know who they are in their hearts so I am safe in keeping my word not to expose them by name.

What do they do that is dishonest? Well, they don't tell you that their interest in the case is a jumping off point to recognition, fame or even a career move in some cases. Some of them simply want attention and they use this case as a means to gain that for themselves. I don't know which is sadder or more disgusting...the attention seekers or the ones who are deliberately using the grief of a family to feather their own nest.

There are also many people who work daily to find those illusive answers and they know who they are as well. They try to come up with ideas, they blog or moderate message boards or they simply keep everyone informed of the activities in the case (or lack thereof). They deserve a lot of credit but like most selfless individuals, never ask for any.

To those who are using the disappearance of a young woman to further their own sick need for attention or recognition, I want you to know that many of us KNOW who you are and that we DO have your names and documentation of what you have done. It could be made public if necessary so I would reconsider your methods before someone who doesn't care about keeping their promises "outs" you.

To those who work so hard to help....you will find your own reward for doing what you do in ways that we probably can't define because those who are genuine and who really give of themselves are often blessed when they least expect it.
