PROOF OF ARUBA'S FEAR...MASSIVE AVAILABILITY

By Aruban Boycott Member, jen3560

I have the good fortune of working for a boss who owns a time-share in Hawaii. Even more fortunate for me, my boss is usually too busy to be able to take a vacation. The last two years, he has generously given his time-share week to me.

Last year, I exchanged to the island of Grand Cayman – had a wonderful time! This year, I was again exploring the Caribbean for my travel plans. I had decided on either the Bahamas (Nassau), or Turks and Caicos.

Upon contacting the time-share agency for availability and to book the exchange, I was told there was nothing in the Caribbean available for the times I wanted to travel (May – October), with the exception of Aruba, and St Maarten.

Now, St Maarten has never held much appeal for me, so I passed on that opportunity. I inquired further of the agent about just how much availability there is on Aruba. He informed me that they had something for any week I wanted to travel – at any one of 7 different resorts.

This told me 2 things:

Time-share owners are NOT exchanging to the island of Aruba;

Time-share owners whose “home base” is Aruba – are exchanging out.

Now, if “owners” who have already paid to travel to Aruba aren’t going there – what are the odds that the yet-to-be paid-for hotel staying travelers are going there?

If I ever wondered whether Aruba’s yes-men Internet posters who try to tell us tourism is on the rebound were lying to us – my own personal enquiries put an end to that.

Keep up the pressure of the boycott, folks!

It IS working!

BOYCOTT ARUBA

PS--I decided that I will be traveling to Carmel, California this year for my vacation!

The eight brave men asked the Dutch King. Lord, shall you send us, we will hammer the Arubans into submissions, and bring your House in order. You will rule Aruba Antillies forever and forever. The mighty King says, Go. My honest servants will not disappoint me. I am the Dutch law. And no Arubans are above the law.

When will Aruba get it ... Americans are not going to spend their tourist dollars where one of their own has been denied justice by a corrupt investigation ... a corrupt investigation that abounds with personal and professional conflicts of interest from within.

GRACE: … Jossy, regarding the connection, what I perceived to be a close connection between the judge, Paulus Van Der Sloot and the retired chief of police who initially handled Natalee`s case, Van Der Stratten, were they friends?
MANSUR: Of course, they were friends. It stands to reason they were friends because Paul Van Der Sloot had many friends within the police department; he had many friends within the Department of Justice. And he had many friends with -- and he was friendly with all the judges in Aruba. He worked out of the same office as they did and did the same work.

The Royal court scribe requested a warrant to be granted by the King to search the home of Antonio Carlos, the Aruban lawyer of Joran and Paulus. He believes the forensic evidences are still there in his safe under his house concrete floor. Carlos mught have Joran's handwritten confessions and the plastic cups that he recovered from Joran's trash. The cups might have Joran and Natalee's fingerprints on them.

The tourists number in Aruba further spiraled down out of control last April despite of the massive Boston Travel advertising efforts. Many empty hotels were being abandoned in the mid of renovations, it was a mess and ugly. The Arubans are hopeless and lost.

In his book Joran was tormented by seeing Natalee suffered and dying in his arms when he raped her brutally while the Kalpoe borthers were waiting their seconds.

Boycotter going to Carmel!
First, let me congratulate you on your choice, Carmel is a beautiful place, as well as many near-by tourist sites, available for you to visit and enjoy! Bon Voyage and have a wonderful trip, I'm sure you will!!

The two things you noted in your post above, gave illustrations of WHAT timeshare holders were doing. IMO, I would like to speculate on the WHY!!!
People have become all too aware of the dangers of visiting Aruba, and I believe their eyes have been opened as to how Aruba is NOT a "beautiful", island to see, but, in truth, quite a sub-standard resort, sparcely dotted with Palm trees and copiously scattered with scrub brush, cacti, trash (both human and disgarded), filled with drug users and frequented with the type of tourists who seek this kind of activity. Going there is a lose /lose deal. Many time-share owners have found themselves not in the lovely repite situation that they were duped into believing, but the unfortunate owners of a red herring!!

The King is in New York. He agrees with the Reformed Church to let the angry Americans to boycott all the Dutch companies in USA. To bring down the queen. He is sick of the queen. The 30 days are counting.

If the above mentioned is true, can anybody explain to me how come Marriott is building 3 to 4 new towers, ALL timeshare; Westin is going to build a new tower, ALL Timeshare; Divi-Divi is expanding, ALL Timeshare; and RCCL is going to make Aruba one of it's 'home ports'; apparently another huge timeshare project is underway.
It's all so confusing, are these posts true, or are these just people trying to confuse us to not travel to Aruba? If I read your website, Aruba is evil, yet apprently, more than a million folks travel to Aruba still every year. Sorry, but I just can't believe that 1 million people are wrong. So, if possible, please help me understand the situation.

Thanks.

All I know FOR SURE is there is massive availability there for the time shares.

As to why investors in Aruba would build more? I would have to doubt the validity of those reports.
These hoteliers certainly aren't stupid people - if someone like me can learn the truth of Aruba's time share problem - those folks who are experiencing it first hand undoubtedly know of it as well.

If you are unsure, contact any time share program that has properties on Aruba yourself. That way you can also know first hand of the availability on that island.

Also people are finding out the structural defects of those timeshare buildings. The concrete and steel are corroding and corrupting inside the core of the supporting beams and walls. They suspected the Aruban government violated the international building code and cut corners by using the seawater to mix the cement for the construction. They supposed to use the distilled water to maintain the purity and quality of the building. Those salted timeshare highrise townhouses can collapse and crumble anytime under their own weight and kill all the Americans living inside. The Arubans are very trikery and dangerous, just move out of Aruba as soon as possible.

Those are goofy places the IRS and Secret Service looking into right now. The timeshares were bought with counterfeit US$100 bills printed by the rogue states. How the world Aruba got into the murderous money scam, nobody knew. You could be indicted by the grand jury for grand theft for renting those questionable timeshares. Just say no to Aruba for your own safety.

OK - so your timeshare program has 8 weeks available on Aruba over a 9 week period?

I think you've just answered your own questions..........AVAILABILITY!!!!

And lots of it.

Thanks for letting us know that my boss' isn't the only time share program with vacancies on Aruba!

BOYCOTT ARUBA!!!!!!!!

I huess you fail to understand my point:
Of those 8 weeks, 4 are the same week: June 23 to Jun 30.
That leaves a total of 5 weeks availability. Furthermore, you only see , except for La Cabana, small resorts with availability. What about Marriott, with it's 4 towers of timeshare. They don't seem to have anything.
And showing that a resort has availability during a week, doesn't say how many rooms are available; it could literally be 1 room available or 20 rooms. But for an Island with something like 1500 to 2000 timeshare rooms, it is ridiculous little the amount of weeks available during 'summer' season.
And what you conveniently failed to see is that I searched from June 23 to August 31, NOT July 31. And there is already NOTHING available for August on the whole island.
But, honestly, Interval International is only one of the companies. Maybe your boss' timeshare works with RCI, the other big Timeshare company. Checkthat out, because mayvbe that is the discrepancy between his findings and mine.
Anyways, I'll be in Orlando again this year.
