DAY ONE OF PROTEST IN THE "THE BIG EASY"

*Here is an excerpt regarding the Aruban protest in New Orleans for June 29, 2007

"...People were walking up to us and talking about the case, asking questions. Some were arrogant or rude and refused to take the nice brochures we were passing out. Others seemed extremely interested in the case and very sympathetic to Natalee’s family. Several even made it a point to tell us THEY are not going to Aruba!

Among the most interesting people we spoke with was a travel agent from Ontario who has 5 children and who showed a great deal of interest in this case. Another man, a Native American, works in the Caribbean as a boat captain, and he was VERY angry about the anti-American sentiment he encounters that when he goes to countries in the Caribbean…and about Natalee’s case."

We’ll be going back tomorrow and Sunday to continue our protest...

"...This Riverwalk entrance is next to the Hilton, where the travel agents are meeting. Many people are passing through this large gate and taking time to read the banners.

One of our cars is parked between Harrah's Casino and the Hilton, and most attending the travel meetings have to pass by...on foot or by car. As people cross the streets in 4 directions, to and from the meetings, they are faced with signs...and/or us."

I just talked with one of the people in New Orleans and the weather is not very good today, but they have met a lot of people and they are interested. The brochures are going fast.

It is a great thing that they are doing and the more people that know that Natalee is still missing and why will keep her name and image alive so that Aruba will understand that we will not forget and we will continue to hold them accountable until this is resolved and Natalee is returned.

Has Robin thanked these fine people
for supporting her stepdaughter Natalee?

Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, this is not a DIG on Robin. But...

Why would she thank anyone for their hard work for these protests?

She's made it clear that she against the boycott.

This is the 3rd successful protest. People are getting up off their butts and away from their computer and DOING SOMETHING to make a difference. I am happy there are people in this world that care about more than just themselves. This is the first case where I've seen so many people dedicated for this long and coming together making it a huge group effort that is obviously paying off.

So if she is against the boycott, I am under the assumption that she is against the protesters as well...even though she claims everyone has their own opinion, blah, blah, blah.

People should really quit using the terms 'protests' and 'boycott' for what these dedicated people are doing in the name of Natalee. They are Awareness Campaigns designed to let people know who Natalee is in the event they do not know and to make people aware that Natalee is still missing after two years and the reason why. It is very peaceful and nonconfrontive with signs, banners and brochures. If there is another travel type show before Natalee is found, there will be people there. Natalee is not and will not be forgotten

Not to be a smart ass Louis...but PROTESTS and BOYCOTTS can be peaceful. Remember Martin Luther King, Jr.?

Besides, there are A LOT of you out there that signed up as a member of the boycott...now all of a sudden "protest" or "boycott" is a dirty word. Those of you are hypocrites...and you know who you are.

I am not a mean person, this is NOT a hate site...I want justice just like the rest of you...but the difference is that I refuse to pussy-foot or tip-toe around anyone. And certain people don't like that. Oh well! I refuse to become a wimp. Aruba deserves everything they get...they put this on themselves.

Quit the "political correctness" and call it what it is.

Louis, what is the difference in a Boycott and an Awareness Campaign? It's all one in the same.

You "worship" Robin as if she is God. Robin has sabotaged BFN. It was already a a dirty place and now she has added more dirt.

Can't you people see what Robin is doing? She hangs with the thugs and people have lost all respect for her now. And, you take up for her? You respect this type of action she has shown?

In one breath you take up for Robin and the other breath you fight with the thugs she has associated herself with. WTF is that all about?

What Robin is doing is NOT about Natalee. For the love of God open your eyes for once.

Most people at BFN are there to gossip. Some are sincere. SOME like you are there to worship a family member. Unf*^kinbelieveable.

Robin is a male attention seeker. She needs to be told daily by men and the thugs she hangs with how pretty she is and what a good job she is doing with NOT her daughter.

All you people need to wake up and smell the roses at BFN. I do see some has and are fighting back regardless of what Robin says because they know she is a FAKE and really does not care what happens with this case she is here only for the attention.

I think there should be a thread started that says Boycott Robin and Aruba and call it an Awareness Campaign. LMFAO

Well, the good people in New Orleans weren't even pushing a boycott; they were just reminding people that Natalee is still missing.

So, why shouldn't they be thanked for that?

I thank the people that went to New Orleans to speak out for Natalee. I praise them to the highest.
